Instructional Resources

The resources provided by the Rochester City School District School Library system: 

• Ensure students engage in grade-level content, by providing quality resources that allow for targeted scaffolding.

• Support teachers in helping students demonstrate progress toward learning by linking educators with grade level standards and lesson plans.

• Support students owning the thinking by providing resources where students do the cognitive work by participating in the research process and providing evidence to support their thinking. 

• Represent our students. Resources have been curated to represent diverse perspectives and life experiences, ensuring students feel seen, affirmed and valued.
