Professional Development "Professional Development/Travel" Forms When filling out and submitting PD Travel forms please do the following on PD/Travel Form, RCPS Professional Development/Travel From:
Always have your immediate supervisor sign your documents.
Fill out the form in its entirety.
Always submit documents in duplicate form (2 copies).
Include information on the PD you are participating in (email confirmation, invoice, conference agenda, etc...).
Indicate if you will need to use an RCPS car.
The 2018 Mathematics SOL Institute online modules have been posted on the VDOE website. These institutes provided training that focused on implementing the 2016 Mathematics SOL's; strengthening the teaching and learning of mathematics through facilitating meaningful discourse; and supporting equitable mathematics learning opportunities for all students.
Summer CIP Teacher Orientation
Linked below is a draft of the CIP overview that Beth Cochran or I will go over with the orientation participants. This will comprise the first 30-45 minutes of each meeting, before our curriculum team members take over to go over the details of the course materials, assessments, and pacing guide. Please take a look at this and let us know if anything causes you any concern, or if there’s anything we should add.
