CIP Benchmarks

History- Since all History SOL tests will be based on the old 2008 standards, our benchmarks are as well. You will find these listed under the expired standards in PowerSchool Assessment (please see screenshot below.

Math 4-7- The math benchmark blueprints for grades 4-7 have been updated to indicate which questions must be answered without a calculator and which may be answered with a calculator. The first section of each assessment must be answered without. The calculator tool will be available on the appropriate questions.

Math EOC- In EOC Math courses that will be tested this fall (on the old standards) last year's benchmark aligned with the 2009 standards should be given. You may find this under the expired standards in PowerSchool Assessment.

Desmos Calculator- As you know, we will begin to transition to the Desmos online calculator with this year's SOL test. At this point, PowerSchool Assessment has not integrated this tool into their platform, and have no plans to do so, much to the chagrin of our teachers. Sometimes the squeaky wheel gets the grease, so if you feel so inclined, please do not hesitate to call them up and plead for the integration of the Desmos calculator.
