Transition

RCOE College and Career Transition Guide is the cornerstone of the CCTP as it is used to document the student's progress in the career exploration process. Upon completion, Seniors will receive a copy to use as a roadmap as they leave high school.

• Student responses on the Transition Guide are used to complete the data collection step.

Part 1: 9-12 Graders

• Career Interest Survey, Career Plan, and Portfolio sections are completed as part of the activities during lessons # 1-7.

• The original is kept by the teacher.

Part 2: 12th Graders Only

• Information for Part 2 is initially completed by the student. The teacher will then spend time with each student to discuss what is documented and help the student identify next steps as to their career aspirations.

• The original is kept by the teacher and a copy is provided for the student.
