Student reflection 1
Waking up in the mountains early in the morning was definitely a cherishing experience, it was very relieving when I walked up to the rooftop of the cafe and saw the astonishing mountain view. I found it quite peaceful while talking to Mr. Daniel on the comfy seats outside and looking into the clouds as they floated around.
After breakfast, cleaning, packing, and preparing for our hike down Tiger Leaping Gorge, at least it won’t be raining today, which does make our lives a lot easier. As we started our journey, we were met by a passionate dancer hopping around to motivate us, this person was Elliot, and he was absolutely killin' it to Blueberry Faygo on the speakers.
In terms of the learning outcomes of CAS this morning, I find meeting challenges and developing new skills suits very well this morning, when we arrive at narrow rock cliffs and a beautiful yet deadly waterfall. It was a test of bravery and risk-taking to go through these danger zones, pushing myself through mental limits was indeed uncomfortable but I felt very proud after exceeding my boundaries.
