WHO IS SEAC?
SEAC membership can include any individual who is dedicated to furthering the interests of exceptional pupils and wishes to enhance the experience of students with special needs. Representatives may be from either parent associations affiliated with provincially incorporated associations, or “members at large” including parents or grandparents of children within our board
WHEN DOES SEAC MEET?
SEAC meets virtually the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and usually last an hour and a half.
WHAT DOES SEAC DO?
Makes recommendations to the RCCDSB about special education.
Participates in an annual review of the RCCDSB Special Education Plan.
Makes recommendations to the RCCDSB about Individual Education Plans. Participates in Public Relations.
Reviews the Annual RCCDSB Budget for Special Education.
