讓學生藉著反复練習和比賽，以說故事的方式加強演說能力。

With practices and competitions, the school is helping students to build Chinese public speaking skills through storytelling.

聖經故事，中西兒童故事，歷史故事，童話故事，寓言故事皆可。幼稚園班及CSL班也可以選擇 Show-and-Tell。

Students may choose Bible stories, eastern/western children’s stories, historical events, fairy tales, or Aesop’s fables. The Kindergarteners and CSL students may also choose Show-and-Tell.

幼兒表演組：幼稚園班（不計分）
成人中文班表演組：成人中文班（不計分）
低年級組：一，二年級
中年級組：三，四年級
高年級組：五，六年級

Kindergarten: Optional performance. No score.
CSL: Optional performance. No score.
Low division: 1st and 2nd grades
Mid division: 3rd and 4th grades
High division: 5th and 6th grades

演講長短為一至四分半鐘，超過時間會強行停止，但不扣分。時間少於1分鐘則扣分。

Speeches should be between one and four and a half minutes in length. If a speech exceeds the time limit, it will be stopped, though no points will be deducted. Speeches shorter than one minute will result in a point deduction.

時間控制：25%，少於一分鐘扣分，超於四分半被強迫停止，但不扣分。

發音和語調：25%

話語流暢：25%

台風，表情和手勢：25%

* 若無法現場演講，而是用錄影代替，總成績在台風和流暢這兩項將各扣一分。

** 拿講稿上台者，總成績在流暢這一項將各扣一分。

Time control: 10%. Points will be deducted if the speech is less than 1 minute, or more than 4 minutes and 30 seconds.

Pronunciation and accent: 30%

Fluentness: 30%

Facial expression and body language: 30%

* If a student is unable to deliver the speech in person and submits a video recording instead, one point will be deducted from both the Stage Presence and Fluency categories.

** Students who bring their notes on stage will receive a one‑point deduction in the Fluency category.
