若歌教會附設的若歌中文學校是一個非營利組織，我們不隸屬於任何政黨，也未接受任何資助，因此學校的成功離不開家長們的協助。學校家長可以參與以下至少一項服務領域。

如果家長是本校的學生或老師，則無需承擔額外的家長責任。

RCCC Chinese School under Rutgers Community Christian Church (RCCC) is a non-profit organization.  We are not affiliated to any political party, nor received any aid.  The school will not be able to succeed without the help from the parents.  School parents may participate at least one of the following areas.

If the parent is a student or a teacher of our school, no additional parent duty is required.

職責包括參與：

• 規劃新學年的校曆（每年三月）

• 擬定CSL課程（兒童、青少年及成人組）之教學計畫（春季）

• 擬定文化課課程提案，主題包含城市、各地飲食、各地人物、節日、朝代與服飾等（秋季）

• 歸檔學生考試卷

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning the academic calendar for the upcoming school year (March)

• Developing curriculum proposals for CSL programs (Children, Youth, and Adult divisions) during the spring

• Creating culture class curriculum proposals for the fall, featuring topics such as regional cities, cuisine, traditions, holidays, dynasties, and traditional clothing

• Archiving examination papers

職責包括參與：

• 準備評審記分表、影印所需文件並準備鉛筆等文具

• 確定演講比賽的主題

• 協助佈置比賽場地（桌椅擺設）

• 主持三場比賽：點名學生依序上台並掌控演講時間

• 計算分數並將分數表掃描存檔

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing judge score sheets, making copies, and providing necessary materials such as pencils

• Selecting topics for the speech contest

• Organizing the contest venue setup, including tables and chairs

• Hosting all three contests, which involves coordinating student presentations and speech timing

• Calculating contest scores and archiving the score sheets digitally

職責包括參與：

• 籌辦一次秋季聚餐活動（例如：燒烤、室內外野餐或親子料理聚餐）

• 籌辦農曆新年聚餐活動（包含表演、包餃子與百樂餐）

• 籌辦學期末班級派對

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning one fall lunch gathering (e.g., BBQ, indoor/outdoor picnic, or parent-child meal event)

• Organizing the Chinese New Year celebration, including a group lunch, performances, dumpling-making, and a potluck

• Coordinating the End-of-School class party

學校理解部分家長可能因行程安排而無法直接參與學校活動。在此情況下，若您願意提供財務支持，學校將深表感激。

We understand that parents may have scheduling constraints that limit direct involvement in school activities.  In light of this, your financial support would be sincerely appreciated and can greatly contribute to the success of our programs and initiatives.
