K2 B learners were introduced to the ‘er’ words through a story. They were able to identify the ‘er’ sound words. They shared few ‘er’ words that were familiar to them and weaved a story with the words that were discussed in the class.

We read the Pearson reader books ‘The butterfly’ and ‘Turnips and beetroots’. Learners wrote the new vocabulary words in their books and have started to write a passage using those words.

Learners were introduced to the action words ‘verbs’ through a few activities on live board.

Our learners wrote the ‘us’ family words and sentences using the words independently.

K2B learners are learning word problems and data handling using currency. They are learning 'problem solving sums' related to real life situations. They measured their personal objects using a scale or a ruler as they are learning more about measurements. We also learnt a new 3D shape - cube. Our learners created their 3D shape using toothpicks or ice cream sticks and dough.

This week our learners learnt about the life cycle of a plant and could relate it to various other life cycles. They drew their understanding of the life cycle of a plant. Later, the learners took an online field trip to a Plant nursery and shared their experiences of taking care of their plants.

While learning about plants for the unit, our K2 learners made their own tulip plant with the help of Origami. In the previous session, they made the flower and in this session they made the stems and the leaves. They enjoyed learning origami craft.
