Learners were introduced to the writing of the uppercase letters D,B,P and R on the red and blue lines. They wrote three letter words ‘did’ and ‘has’ independently. Recap of sight words was done with the learners by playing crossword puzzles.

K1 learners are wonderful mathematicians. They started their week by learning about subtraction and put it in practice by playing with playdough and smashed the ones which they had to subtract. K1 learners also practiced backward counting from 80 to 1 and they made their own pizza craft with their own toppings to recap fractions.

The K1 learners are inquiring into the unit ‘System’ under the theme ‘How we organize ourselves’ unfolding the central idea with actions 'Communities create systems that meet their needs’. This week learners did a show and tell on the road and rail transports. Teacher introduced and spoke about ‘Air transport’. K1 learners learnt on 'How air transport works' and 'The it's importance' through live board.

This week in the dance session, our kindergarten dancers learnt basic steps of kids zumba. They thoroughly enjoyed the music, it’s beats and the steps. They got good movements and exercised while dancing.

This week children learnt the famous folk song called "TI-DE-O" where they tried keeping a steady beat. They also played a passing game, where each one of them sang the song and passed it to another child to sing a part of the song. It was great fun for children participating in such musical activities.
