FIERY GRADE 5

International Day Celebrations

The students of RBKIA celebrated International day on 4th November 2020. Grade 5 students researched the UAE and shared their presentations with students and teachers of Grade 4.

The following sub-topics were chosen by the teachers to research on (Art & Architecture, Food, Culture, Heritage & Fashion, Places worth visiting, Parks & Recreation, Map, Flag, Government System, Geographical landforms, Currency and National Anthem, Festivals & National holidays and Dance, Music and Sports). The students then selected their sub-topic based on their choice. Teachers were assigned to monitor and guide them with their research and presentations.

Some of the students also enthusiastically dressed up as UAE citizens and it was a delight to see them in the UAE attire.

This activity gave them an opportunity to develop their learner profile attributes -Inquirer, knowledgeable, thinking, communicator, open-minded, caring and balanced and attitudes such as Independence, confidence, appreciation, enthusiasm, cooperation, creativity, commitment, respect, curiosity and tolerance.

The whole of Grade 5 worked cooperatively and collaboratively to come up with such a wonderful presentation.
