Updates & Reminders

• School pictures have arrived and will be sent home next week.  Picture Retake Day has been scheduled for Thursday, October 27th.  Mortensen Photography will be here from approximately 7:30am - 9:00am - look for retake pre-order information/order forms next month.  Note that retake day is also intended  for any students that missed Picture Day at Open House.  

• Morning Drop Off

Students should not be exiting their cars in the morning drop off line until 7:15. We provide supervision to help students safely cross the lanes of traffic starting at 7:15 AM. There is an outside tone that rings at 7:15. Any time a student does exit from the middle lane - they should walk toward the building to the main cross walk leading to door 1. An adult will help them cross to the sidewalk at that point. Students being dropped at the curb should not exit their cars until their vehicle reaches door 13. Students should not exit their cars and walk along the driveway to get to the curb. Thank you. 

• 76th Street Road Closures

The Racine County Public Works contacted the school to inform us that any of the upcoming road work should not impact bus routes or bus stops. The surface may be different to drive on, but buses should not be impacted. In the event that a bus would need to be rerouted, RCPW would work with Dousman Transport to communicate with families regarding change.

Raymond School Foundation

The Raymond School Foundation outdoor classroom project has made significant progress this summer. The foundation has not completed the project quite yet and is seeking the additional funds to complete the area that all students may access four outdoor experiential learning opportunities.
