The Crash

On Xmas eve 1998 I had a bit of a prang on the A1000 on the way back from Potters Bar I hit a patch of ice and the front broke away, as I lifted the front caught in time for the rear to catch the ice, tried to catch it a few times but the bend it happened on and the bridge I was approaching put a stop to that with the front mounting the kerb an introducing the noise to the bridge wall. Once I came to a rest on the other side of the road the car was clearly un-drivable so the AA was call and it was dropped off on to my mums drive looking a little sorry for its self.
