Auxiliary Gauges

The Cavalier didn’t come fitted with auxiliary gauges, but the Calibra did — featuring battery and oil pressure dials. I was keen to have a boost gauge, so the search began to find dials that complemented the black instruments of the Cavalier, as opposed to the grey ones in the Calibra.

After hours of searching, I found a set of dials by Auto Meter that were a close match, so I had them imported from the States. They weren’t a direct fit, so I disassembled the factory unit and modified the newly purchased gauges to fit the original front panel. To hold it all together, I custom-designed and 3D printed new mounts to maintain a factory look once installed.
