Awarded to individuals of any age, who are residents of Rappahannock County. First priority given to those who demonstrate financial need. This fund will support those who are pursuing training of any kind as it relates to the BUILDING Trades.
This scholarship is awarded to students pursuing a degree, certificate, or credential in a technical or trade education program. Examples of such programs include, but are not limited to, automotive technology, welding, industrial maintenance, commercial truck driving, masonry, carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, or diesel and heavy equipment repair. The applicants must demonstrate financial need. (Application through NCPF website)

The Poling Family Memorial is a new and diverse scholarship opportunity for our Rappahannock County students. Qualifying applicants must be residents of Rappahannock County, and candidates for graduation from high school in the current year, in solid academic standing and having participated in community service.
James River Equipment believes investing in our communities will sustain those communities for years to come. James River Equipment invites graduating high school seniors in VA to apply for one of 5 scholarship opportunities to be awarded in May 2025:
3- $3,000 Scholarships awarded to students pursuing a career in heavy equipment/diesel technology
2- $2,000 Scholarships awarded to students pursuing a career in agricultural/life sciences, agribusiness, leadership, sales, or marketing.
Scholarships will be awarded to the individual and can be used toward tuition, fees, books and travel/housing.
Internships within James River Equipment will also be available to scholarship recipients.
