How to Request a High School Transcript
Any present or past RCHS student wishing to request a high school transcript should complete a request via Parchment. If you have yet to create a Parchment account, you can follow the instructions below on how to create one. If you already have an account, you can follow the instructions below on how to request your transcript.
Creating a Parchment Account
Current Student:
Search your go-panthers email for an email from Parchment
Go into that email and hit finish setting up account
When you do that, keep it as your go-panthers email-make sure you accurately adjust your birthday
Also, it will ask if you want schools to be able to find you --- It is totally up to you how you answer the question, but I suggest saying no because if you say yes it means colleges can say you are interesting and just ask us specifically to send your transcript to them.
If it asks you to enter info to set up a profile (after the first page of account set up) you can exit out and you don’t have to finish setting up the profile.
Graduated Student:
If you wish to create a Parchment account and you have already graduated from RCHS, you can create a Parchment account using your personal email. If you already have an account, you can log in with your user information.
How to Request Transcripts
RCHS Transcript:
Once you have logged into Parchment, you will can scroll down under "Rappahannock County High School" and select the green button that says "Order Transcript", then you will go through the steps.
Pick whichever option is most specific and accurate for your school (i.e. if undergraduate admissions UVA is an option, pick that).
These transcript requests will be free.
Laurel Ridge Transcript:
If you have ever taken a Laurel Ridge class you need to also request your Laurel Ridge transcript.
Log into your Parchment account that you set up with your go-panthers email
Scroll down and hit the button that says to add another institution you’ve attended
Search for Laurel Ridge and add that - there will be a set of questions for you to answer
The ordering process will look the same as the RCHS transcript except each Laurel Ridge transcript does have a $6 cost.
You will be able to order both transcripts from the same account (with your go-panthers email), just make sure that it is being sent from where you want it sent from (RCHS or Laurel Ridge)
FAQ's
I do not see Rappahannock County High School listed when I log in- what do I do?
When you log in, there should be an option to add schools/ institutions you've attended. Select that and type in Rappahannock County High School and follow all of the steps.
It is having me set up a profile- do I have to do that?

Do I have to request a transcript for every school I apply to?
Yes! Be sure to log into your Parchment account and request a transcript for every school you apply to.
