Dig Day 4

Kids Dig Day 4 and once again we had a great turnout- 20 children altogether.

Some new pits were opened and the mattock was needed quite a few times to loosen the soil. But plenty of things were found including:

• bits of tile with a dark glaze

• iron nails

• coprolite ( dinosaur poo)

• flint

• belamnites

Then......in the last half hour when many children had gone home a neolithic blade was found ( forgot to take a photo but will get one today!).

Fantastic.

Smiling faces all round for the find of the day and this family really did earn their certificates.
