The purpose of the Proposal is to identify the "what" you are doing and most importantly, the "why". The Proposal will communicate your purpose, projected outcome, timeline and the research base for your project. While it is very likely that your project will evolve as you make progress, the intent is that by establishing clear goals, timelines and terms, this evolution will be clearly identified and personal growth will occur as a result.
The content of the working portfolio will vary depending on the type of Profile Project chosen. The digital portfolio will be used to house the selected artifacts. All portfolios should contain artifacts showcasing the final product or the product itself. In addition, every portfolio should contain "deliverables" or artifacts that showcase how the project was accomplished at different points of time. These artifacts document the steps taken to produce the final project product and should also highlight the Profile of a Graduate (PoG) competencies you exercised.

A valuable endeavor at the conclusion of any project is reflection. Reflection makes us self-aware and deepens ownership. When we reflect, we become sensitive to the personal connection that exists between ourselves, our learning, and our work.
The Profile Defense of Learning is an opportunity for students to reflect on their growth in the Ramsey Profile of a Graduate skills as a result of the work they did on their Profile Project. The Defense requires that students answer the following Essential Questions:
What did I learn about myself throughout the execution of my profile project?
How will this prepare me for life after high school?
