A Profile Project is an authentic, multifaceted capstone experience in the senior year that allows for exploration of a passion, personal interest, or curiosity. The Profile Project components are designed for all students to apply and transfer academic knowledge and skills to a personally meaningful context that culminates in student growth. The goal is for student Profile Projects to demonstrate competencies and skills expected of Ramsey graduates, such as critical thinking, research, self-sufficiency, problem solving, oral and written communication, reflection, etc. - i.e., skills that will help prepare students for college, modern careers, and adult life.

The Profile Project program provides students with flexibility in designing their own authentic learning experience and latitude to navigate the obstacles they encounter. Beginning with the graduating Class of 2022, each student will complete a student-driven and staff supported Profile Project. Various pathways to complete the Profile Project are being constructed to provide all students with the support, wherewithal, resources, and personalization to enable each student to illustrate the education they have received from Ramsey School District.
