Phase III

UPDATE Spring 2021: When we broke ground for the Kindergarten addition, beautiful boulders were unearthed! We wanted to make the most of already having them on site so, thanks to the RPEF grant, we were able to have the architectural plans drawn up by Learning Landscapes.

Spring/Summer 2024 - Phase III includes the final and most structurally significant part of the site plan. It will be completed under the guidance of a general contractor and volunteers. This area includes a double nest swing, spinner seat, climbing nets, embankment slide, boulder mound, climbing wall, shade structure, double slide, bridge, performance stage and fox den.

Permanent plaques to recognize all contributors will be installed at the entrance to the playground on a Legacy Donor Tree.

Special Update January 2021:

An exciting unexpected side effect of the entire back of the building being dug up for the Kindergarten addition was the unearthing of GIANT BOULDERS! The cost of the area where the boulder mound was going to be the greatest price tag but now we have secured plans from Learning Landscape for those mounds to be installed so that we can get the Adventure Zone noted in Phase III going ahead of schedule!
