Phase II
In Phase one and two the work begins! A celebratory breaking ground event will take place in Spring 2021. Local landscapers will be solicited to support the parts of the site plan that are feasible for them to do (ex: plan out/dig out paths, donate rock, plants, stumps, etc.) The site developer will come in to support us in completing the design within our Phase I, year 1 budget constraints and leave plans for Phase II to be completed in the summer of 2021 (or sooner if additional ongoing fundraising is going well!)
After Phase I is completed (possibly at the same time), Phase II, the Discover Zone, will begin! This zone will give students access to a reading boat, workshop tables, nature lab, insect hotel, a willow tunnel and house, portable water pump and channels and sand play area. Funds raised will support the purchasing of the plantings and materials to build this site.
