Microsoft Office 365
Students receive free email accounts and may download Microsoft Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to personal devices.
To log in to your Office 365 Account:
https://portal.office.com using your @stu.k12.wv.us email account / password
To install the Office 365 Suite on your personal devices, log in to Office 365 at https://portal.office.com
1. At the top right of the blue ribbon, there will be an icon for you to import a picture. Beside that is a cog - wheel icon. Click the gear.
2. Select Office 365 Settings
3. Click "Software" to install software!
4. Once installed on your device, sign-in with your Office 365 credentials.
To access online storage space in One Drive
If you click the waffle (the ... box) on the blue ribbon, you'll see the link to One Drive.
1. To upload a document or picture, click the +new. Find and upload.
2. Be careful if you see a "shared with everyone" folder. Anything in that folder would be shared with everyone in the state system!
Microsoft Teams
Raleigh County Schools is using Microsoft Teams for online meetings this year. This platform allows us to keep in touch through our unique blended learning setting. As TEAMS is part of the Microsoft family, login is typically with the Office365/k12 email account info. RCS Students will be accessing TEAMS through Schoology:
Log into Schoology
Go to the designated course or place assigned by teacher to access the Teams link (ex. Homeroom course, math course, or a message in email.)
Click on the Teams Meeting Link
Click to join meeting
Participants will need to enter their first and last name
Participants will join the meeting once the teacher approves them from the waiting room
Participants should mute themselves
Participants should be appropriately dressed for school
