SAT and ACT scores are not reported on the transcript

Scores must be sent from the College Board or ACT account (some schools will accept these from the school counselor, but you will need to check college-specific websites. If it calls for “official” score reports, those must come from the College Board). This reason test scores are not included on the transcript is due to the number of schools that have announced they are “test optional” or “test flexible.” A list can be found here. Please be sure to do your own research beyond this list as some schools only exempt students who meet minimum grade-point average or class rank criteria; others require SAT or ACT scores but use them only for placement purposes, and others still require scores for specific programs/majors. Please check with the school's admissions office for details!
