FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

OCTOBER 1 - new form available

How do I fill out the FAFSA?

1. The student and at least one parent need to register for separate FSA ID numbers.

2. Once you have a FSA ID, you can go to: https://fafsa.gov/ and click on "Start a new FAFSA" (Class of 2022 use the 2022-2023 application and prior prior tax info- 2020)

*Be sure to use the FAFSA site listed above ".gov" as there is an imposter FAFSA site at ".com" that will ask you to pay for the application. Don't do that one! It is the FREE Application for Federal Student Aid...no cost to fill it out.
