C.C Engineers was awarded a contract by West Central Railway, Jabalpur for the supply, erection, testing & commissioning of a set of 3-phase loco training modules for the WAG-9 loco. The new modules include a braking system simulator for WAG-9, a WAG-9 brake fault simulator, a WAG-9 auxiliary power circuit fault simulator, and a WAG-9 traction power circuit fault simulator. The simulator is controlled with state-of-the art microprocessors that use IGBT technology. This ensures superior performance and control over elements like power and traction.

The General Manager of West Central Railway, Shailendra K Singh, inaugurated the new simulator on 5th June, 2020. It is placed next the motion-based simulator and will be used for training drivers on the 3-phase locomotive at the training centre in Bhopal. Prior to this project, the West Central Railway already had an existing simulator for the conventional locomotive. This simulator, however, is especially useful for providing training for the 3-phase locomotive. It includes advanced computer graphics that were specially created for the Habib Ganj section of West Central Railway, from Itarsi to Habib Gunj.
