The Gilder Lehrman Institute is offering free, weekly live sessions for high school students as part of an introductory course taught by Mr. Tyler Niche, a veteran AP® United States Government and Politics teacher and 2022 Oregon History Teacher of the Year.
The course begins on Thursday, July 10, 2025 and is held each Thursday until August 14, 2025. Register for free using the link below. Email Mr. Clark or historyschool@gilderlehrman.org with any questions.
Free Self-Paced Course
Khan Academy
Khan Academy offers a unit-by-unit collection of readings, videos, and assessments to self-study at your own pace this summer. These materials are directly aligned to AP® United States Government and Politics course and the AP® Exam.
If you are serious about earning college credit and passing the AP® Exam, I recommend beginning a self-study and review of Unit 1 before the first day of classes in September.
