WSCA students establish a transcript and GPA (Grade Point Average) after grades from the first semester of 9th grade are submitted to PowerSchool.
Each semester, students will receive a grade and 5 credits per course they complete.
Over four years of high school, students have the potentail of earning 240 total credits (see graduation requirements).
WSCA school transcrips will include both an weighted and an unweighted GPA (see more about GPA calculations).
Review your transcript carefully
Review your personal information.
If your personal information or address is not correct, your parent will need to change it in their Parent PowerSchool account. Email Ms. Repetti for help.
Review all grades If you have questions about the grades listed on you transcript:
First see the teacher.
If your teacher is not able to answer your question, or if they no longer teach at WSCA, see Ms. Repetti.
Check all courses listed on your transcript:
See your counselor if...
There are any courses missing from your transcript that are required for graduation,
Make sure there are no outside course on your transcript that should not be (i.e. not taken for WSCA grad credits).
Please read the following information pertaining to outside coursework
(college or high school level courses taken out WSCA)
Outside courses will only be listed on your transcript when approved in advance by your counselor and used to fulfill a WSCA grad requirement.
Courses approved for this reason MUST be included on your WSCA transcript and grades will be included on your WSCA gpa (no exceptions).
See WSCA Counseling webpage on External Coursework for details and approval process.
NO courses taken outside of WSCA will ever be given honors points on your WSCA transcript, regardless whether the outside school named it as AP, Honors or college level.
For outside coursework NOT added to your WSCA transcript.
During senior year college app workshops, your counselor will show you how to include this coursework on your college application information.
Colleges typically require students to submit transcripts for ALL outside coursework taken.
Your WSCA Transcripts will be updated with your GPA by the following dates.
