AP exams allow students the opportunity to earn college credit at universities and colleges, depending on the institution’s policy.
In 2024, Western Sierra Was given the distinction of AP Honor Roll by meeting the following criteria:
80% or more students completed at least one AP course. (WSCA = 100%.)
50% or more students stored a 3 or above on one exam. (WSCA = 86%.)
15% or more students too a total of 5 or more AP courses. (WSCA - 61%.)
This is an incredible indicator of the effort of students and teachers to be prepared for these rigorous exams.
We encourage all students to sign up for AP exams to potentially earn college credit and to participate in a college test taking experience.

AP Credit is awarded by the college the student attends after high school
All colleges, universities and even sometimes departments within the college will have their own policies on accepted test scores and applicable credit.
See the individual colleges websites for more information.
