I have been a teacher in Queensbury since 2018. My first role in the district was as an Educational Technologist within the district. After that for the past two years I taught 7th and 8th grade STEM.
Before coming to Queensbury, I worked in Williamsburg, VA. There I taught US Government, A.P. US History, US History, and World History for four years. After our fourth year in Virginia and having our daughter it was time to come back to New York and home.
I have always been a huge fan of history since I stayed up late during the summer as kid in our basement (we didn't have air conditioning and it was so much cooler) watching history documentaries on the History Channel back when they actually showed history on there.
I grew up in Lancaster, NY a suburb of Buffalo. I went to college at Buffalo State where I graduated in 2011. Then after a year and a half of subbing I moved to Virginia.
I am a very active person. I compete in triathlons and marathons so I am usually running, biking, or swimming. Other things I do for fun is listen to podcasts and chase around my 4 year old.
