Click on the specific item in the list that you wish to discount.

Ensure the item is highlighted before proceeding.

Click the Discount button on the function menu.

 
Or, press F4 on your keyboard.

A security pop-up will appear. Enter the required Password in the text field to verify that you have the authority to apply a discount. 

Select your preferred method.

Percentage: Choose this to deduct a percentage from the item price.

Peso Value: Choose this to deduct a specific fixed amount from the item price.

Type the numerical value of the discount into the empty field.

Press Enter on your keyboard.

Or, click the OK/Apply button. 

The discount will now be visible in the transaction list under the selected item.
