Message from Librarians
Dear Parents,
From this week onwards , students with overdue books will be receiving reminders through their advisory teachers. Some of the students have books due from March 2020 when we moved to online learning. Please return these books to the library.
We have noticed that Grade 6 and 7 students have the books from the Primary library on their list. Please inform your children that they can return these books to the Senior School Library.
Please remind your children to return the library books to the library during break/lunch/after school.
Also, please note that students can come to the library during break/lunch or after school to borrow the books for their reading.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, please contact the librarians.
Thank you for your help.

The Senior School Library has around 35000 items in our collection. This includes books, audio-visual materials, ebooks, magazines, newspapers and reference volumes. Our collection is mainly in English and Arabic, but also includes books in other world languages including Spanish, French, German, Dutch and Chinese.
Book borrowing for students:
Students can browse the library catalog and send their request to the librarians using Library Book Request form. The student will be informed when the book (resource) is ready for the collection. Due to health safety concerns we do not encourage students browsing the library collection now.
Grades 6-8 4 items per student
Grades 9-12 10 items per student
Book borrowing for parents:
Parents may set up accounts with the libraries and borrow up to 10 resources at any one time for a two week borrowing period. Parents are permitted to borrow books, DVDs, and professional resources. Parents can use the same form as given above.
The Senior Library subscribes to a several online databases to support student research.
