We are excited to announce that we have entered a formal agreement to collaborate, support, build and expand PYSF with the Club at Westpoint. As an affiliate, The Club will support and host PYSF as its exclusive junior program. As part of the collaboration, PYSF has relocated some operations to Westpoint Harbor during the first phase in August of this year, PYSF will build a state-of-the-art training facility, enabling PYSF to meet the growing demands of students from the San Francisco Peninsula and beyond. Our future is bright!
Peninsula Youth Sailing Foundation (PYSF) provides instruction, coaching, practice, and racing opportunities for youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. Some have become top sailors in the US.
Year-round sailing programs provide opportunities for kids to learn to sail and develop sailing skills using Optimists, Flying Juniors, 420s, and Lasers. Sailors are trained to compete in local regattas in preparation for events along the West Coast. Clinics are offered for experienced members and summer camps are a fun way for young beginners to learn to sail, and race, in small boats.
To provide a comprehensive sailing program for all youth in the Bay Area. From learn-to-sail to elite travel teams, our classes stress safety and cultivate the values of character, community and competitiveness. Our program instills lifelong enjoyment and stewardship of our waterways, oceans and world environment.
