Miss Cluff grew up in the small country town of Wallerawang in Central West, NSW, where she developed a passion for dance at her local studio. A dedicated tap dancer, she also trained in Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, and Highland Dance. She attended Blue Mountains Grammar School before earning a Bachelor of Arts (Communications – Theatre/Media) and a Diploma of Education (Secondary) from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst. While completing her studies, she successfully established her own dance school, offering classes in Lithgow, Wallerawang, and Capertee.
Upon graduating, Miss Cluff was thrilled to join Pymble Ladies’ College as a Dance and Drama teacher, prompting her move to Sydney. She later pursued further qualifications, earning a Master’s in Education (Psychology) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Miss Cluff has been honored to receive two Professional Learning Grants from the College, which enabled her to attend an intensive teacher program at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and present at an International Dance Conference in Copenhagen.
Although qualified to teach Drama, English, and Dance, it is Dance that continues to inspire her most. Since joining Pymble in 2008, she has been instrumental in establishing and leading both the Curricular and Cocurricular Dance programs. She has choreographed numerous musicals and contemporary works and serves as an HSC Dance Marker. She is especially proud of her students’ achievements, including five State Rankings and over 104 Call-Back nominations.
With passion, care, and integrity, Miss Cluff is committed to leading one of the College’s most dynamic and successful programs.
Miss Sam completed a Full Time Performing Arts Course in 2006 and then went on to perform with The Wiggles in both live and televised productions before starting her own Children’s Entertainment Business. Miss Sam has now been teaching for 16 years in a variety of dance genres and is a qualified Ballet Teacher of the Cecchetti Method of Ballet Training. She completed her Associate Diploma A.(Dip).C.B.A-C.I.C.B and Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management CUA40313 in 2014 and completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in 2020.
Miss Sam has been working in the Pymble Dance Program for the last 13 years and has been an integral part of the development of many students, streams, and future directions of all that is Pymble Dance. In 2022 Miss Sam Choreographed the hugely successful first Ballet Production for Pymble 'King of the Polar Bears' and oversees the Certificate in Dance Program. Miss Sam is passionate about event management and the Arts and also now has a side business, Salt and Lime Experiences.
In 2025 Miss Sam commences her role as the Deputy Head of Dance and will be overseeing the CERT in Dance program and our new team of Coordinators.
Miss Alysha has been involved in administration across schools, government, and private organisations for nearly 20 years with a primary focus on Music and Performing Arts. In her previous schools she has specialised in media, design, and communication with parents. She is a skilled photographer and writer and is highly creative. Miss Alysha has been involved in Performing Arts in an amateur and semi-professional capacity for over 20 years and has a passion for supporting young people in their journey to becoming successful performers.
While Miss Alysha has a Bachelor of Education, she has recently graduated from a Graduate Certificate of Business (Arts and Cultural Management) with a view to be better equipped for the needs of our ever growing Dance Program.
Mrs Pettigrew is a passionate and experienced secondary school teacher, specialising in dance education. She holds a Bachelor of Creative Industries (Dance and Drama) and a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) from Queensland University of Technology, where she was recognised with an S1 Ranking for her outstanding performance. Additionally, she is a qualified Gymnastics Coach at the Intermediate Level certified by Gymnastics Australia and has completed her Advanced 1 Royal Academy of Dance exam. Mrs Pettigrew also holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
With over 18 years of teaching experience, Mrs Pettigrew has instructed students of all ages and levels, from tiny tots to adults, across various dance genres. She is skilled in solo and group instruction, catering to both social and competitive dancers. Mrs Pettigrew’s dedication to dance education is evident through her numerous achievements, including being named Open Acrobatics Champion at prestigious events such as the Gold Coast Eisteddfod and 'Get The Beat' Eisteddfod multiple times and her choreography was honoured with the Most Entertaining Award at the Australian Dance Festival in 2022.
In addition to her teaching credentials, Mrs Pettigrew has an extensive background in performance and choreography. She has showcased her talents as a dancer on platforms like Australia's Got Talent, Big Brother and as a backup dancer for renowned artists such as Rhonda Burchmore, Ricki-Lee Coulter and Jessica Mauboy. Her experience also extends to dance contract work, where she toured through Asia, and as a magic assistant to prominent illusionists.
In 2025 Mrs Pettigrew will be commencing her role as the Dance Coordinator - Performance Stream (Eisteddfod Groups) and teaching Academic Groups. She will also be leading the Pymble Dance Company Group.
Miss Sarah started her dancing path from a young age under the training of Robyn Hick (ex-Australian Ballet soloist) in Newcastle, during her early years she was also heavily involved in developing her figure skating artistry. She moved to Pymble as a boarder in order to develop her dance skills in an invigorated arts environment and was provided numerous opportunities to perform and develop within her skills. Miss Sarah completed HSC Dance and was also the Cocurricular Dance Captain in 2013. After finishing school, Sarah completed a Certificate IV in Dance at Ev and Bow, a full-time dance centre in the South of Sydney under the guidance of Sarah Boulter and Lisa Bowmer. During this year she performed on several live and pre-recorded shows such as The Voice, Australia’s Got Talent and NRL games.
After this year of dance, Miss Sarah recognised that she was meant to take a slightly different line with her dance experience, and she completed her Primary Education (honours) degree at University of Sydney. In 2019 Miss Sarah was a Tour Leader on the USA Dance Tour taking Pymble students to NYC, San Francisco and LA. Miss Sarah can also be seen on Campus as a Junior School Teacher, and is with Year 3 in 2023.
Miss Genevieve commenced as Dance Program Coordinator at Pymble in 2023, bringing with her a broad background in dance, choreography, and performance.
After graduating high school in 2018 with HSC Dance and receiving CallBack nominations, Genevieve went on to study full-time Dance and Musical Theatre at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA). She later completed a Bachelor of Arts, Performance Industries: Majoring in Dance, Theatre and Creativity, and a Minor in Music Studies at Macquarie University.
Genevieve began dancing at the age of three, and her passion quickly expanded to include musical theatre, singing and acting. She has performed in many musicals across a variety of theatre companies and schools, developing a deep love for storytelling through movement, music, and character.
Prior to joining Pymble, Genevieve taught at numerous schools and studios, working with students of all ages and levels, from tiny tots to adults, across a range of dance genres, including inclusive classes for dancers with disabilities. She also held a studio management role, supporting both the creative and day-to-day operations of dance programs.
Genevieve is passionate about fostering creativity, confidence, and a genuine love of dance in every student she teaches.
Miss Lucy brings extensive industry and educational experience and qualification. Since working in the Pymble Dance program in 2018 as a casual teacher, Lucy has built a substantial and unique career in Dance education. Alongside her dance company, Lucy has worked as a Contemporary specialist for McDonald College, Performing Arts Coordinator and Dance Teacher at Bethany College, Performing Arts Coordinator and Stage 6 Dance Teacher at Pittwater House and as Specialist Dance Teacher for Sydney Catholic Schools System. Her passion for Dance Education is reflected in her students' achievement of multiple HSC State Rankings in the last 5 years.
She holds a Bachelor of Dance Education from and Master of Arts in Education (Dance Teaching) from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), where she also served as a Faculty of Education Ambassador.
Lucy founded independent Contemporary dance company, Dance Dr., in 2013 and enjoyed over a decade of success in coaching professional dancers, hosting professional development for teachers, incursions and performances for students, athlete management and choreographing commissioned full-length works, earning her a significant reputation in the professional Contemporary dance arena.
Her experience as a business owner, choreographer, Performing Arts Faculty Coordinator and HSC Dance teacher and Marker contribute to her refined expertise in teaching students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
Known for her professionalism and ability to foster "sublime technical prowess" (Dancetrain Magazine, 2023) with a strong sense of identity, Lucy is committed to best practices in dance education and is eager to nurture our program. Her dedication, and collaborative spirit will undoubtedly enrich the Pymble Dance Team.
Laura has been a valued casual staff member since 2017, bringing a wealth of experience in teaching, choreography, and dance program coordination. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from QUT, diplomas in Pilates Instruction and Dance Teaching Studies, and her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Teaching Certificate, Laura’s qualifications underpin her extensive career. Her work spans ballet, contemporary, and pilates, as well as curriculum connections, event coordination, and creating inclusive dance spaces.
Laura has made a significant impact through her work with adults living with physical and intellectual disabilities and her dedication to nurturing young dancers, including Tiny Tots. Her passion for fostering safe, inclusive spaces and her commitment to advancing opportunities for both students and staff will undoubtedly enrich the Pymble Dance Team. Laura will oversee both of these areas and also continue to teach in the Cocurricular Dance Program.
Jackson brings over a decade of experience in dance education and professional performance to this pivotal role. Jackson’s impressive career and current industry experience includes credits in high-profile productions such as WICKED, Rocky Horror Show The Musical, 9 to 5 The Musical, and a featured role in Baz Luhrmann’s ELVIS. Most recently, he served as the Dance Captain - creative manager for the Australian Broadway National Tour of WICKED, where he honed his mentorship, project management, and team coordination skills in large-scale professional productions.
Passionate about dance education, Jackson is dedicated to creating inclusive, challenging, and nurturing environments that inspire students to excel both as performers and individuals. His experience in teaching, coupled with exceptional organisational and people management skills, positions him perfectly to support and grow Pymble’s dance program. Jackson’s energy, vision, and commitment to excellence are sure to make a significant and positive impact on our team and students and assist with our ever-growing events calendar and transition to our very own performance space in the new Grey House Precinct. Jackson will be teaching numerous dance classes in our program alongside his Coordination role.
Miss Millie graduated from Pymble in 2023. She has been involved in Pymble Dance since 2018 in both Contemporary and Jazz Eisteddfod as well as being Co-curricular Dance Captain in 2022. Miss Millie completed HSC Dance as well as Certificate II in Dance and Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching.
Since graduating Miss Millie has completed a gap year in the UK working at a school assisting in sports coaching and academic development. She begin her first year of university at UTS studying Event Management.
Senior Instructor
Originally from Sicily, Ginevra Cicatello is an accredited dancer with a background in classical ballet and contemporary dance. After training with acclaimed institutions such as Megakles Ballet, Petranura Danza Company, Zappala’ Dance Company in 2008, Ginevra further expanded her repertoire by studying Greek Drama and Modern Theatre. In 2012 Ginevra joined Petranura Dance Company and had the privilege of performing in prestigious venues and festivals, including the Grand Opera d’Avignon in France, RomaEuropa Festival, and Finland Festival Theatre, Scenario Pubblico Theatre, Greek-Roman Theatre Catania. Ginevra also worked as Freelance Performer Across EU. In 2022, she was selected to participate in Modem Pro with the Zappala’ Dance Company where she danced Zappala’ Repertoire in Italy. Today Ginevra is a certified teacher from the Royal Academy of Dance and Choreographer in Sydney, Australia.
Miss Laura graduated from Pymble in 2023, having been a dedicated member of the Pymble Dance program since 2011. She trained in various styles, including Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, and Contemporary, participating in both onstage and eisteddfod classes. During her time at the college, she completed HSC Dance, as well as a Certificate II in Dance and a Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching.
Since graduating, Miss Laura has embarked on her studies at Australian Catholic University, pursuing a Bachelor of Primary School Education to nurture her passion for teaching and positively influence students’ learning. She has also continued her dance journey as a member of the USYD MADSOC open dance team, further enriching her artistic expression.
Miss Alex is an ex-Pymble student who graduated with the Class of 2018. She took a variety of general and Eisteddfod classes during her time at Pymble and was Co-curricular Dance Captain in 2017. She was the recipient of the Pymble Dance Gold Cup in 2018. Miss Alex was an Assistant Dance Teacher from 2015 to 2018, and as an HSC Dance student, achieved a State ranking and was selected to perform at Callback.
Miss Alex has since contributed countless hours to the Pymble Dance Program and additionally choreographed the production of, ‘A Chorus Line’ in 2023. She has a particular passion for gaining an individual and detailed understanding of her students, creating technique programs to effect tangible improvement, and staying involved across all the streams of Pymble Dance, Kindergarten through to Year 12.
Miss Alex has completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Science at The University of Sydney and continues to work in Early Childhood education in her spare time. Miss Alex remains highly involved in the Movement and Dance Society (MADSOC) of Sydney University, choreographing and coaching three competition teams, and creating new, exciting production routines in 2024. Miss Alex has recently decided to pursue a career in the creative arts, motivated to further hone her skills and passion for both dancing and innovative choreography.
Senior Instructor
Miss Emma studied classical ballet and contemporary, including the Martha Graham Technique, at Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy in the intensive full-time course from when she was 15 years old. She was under instruction of a large variety of highly regarded teachers including Kim Trainer, Tibor Horvath, Julie Wells, Paul Boyd, Tanya Pearson and many more.
In 2010 Miss Emma toured Europe with TPCCA, auditioning for vocational schools around Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Netherlands. From the schools she was selected for she accepted a place in the Royal Conservatoire of the Hague under the direction of Vim Broekx. At the conservatoire Emma was trained under ex soloist of the Paris Opera Ballet Pierre Darde, ex soloist of Het National Ballet Esther Protozoan, ex Dancer of Nederlands Dans Theatre Tessa Cook and many more prestigious Teachers and Guest teachers. At her time in the Netherlands, she had the privilege of performing such pieces as 'Jewels' by George Balanchine, ‘Over Grown Path’ by Juri Kylian, she performed at festival Classique dancing 'planets' by Thom Stuart and performed with 'De Dutch Dance Division' in a soloist roll of their production of 'Abdullah'. In 2017 Emma achieved her Certificate in ballet teaching studies and is a qualified Royal Academy of Dance teacher.
Born in Sydney, Miss Hannah began dancing at an early age and commenced full-time training in 2011 with Tanya Pearson. Throughout this time, she danced with the Sydney City Youth Ballet gaining invaluable performance and stage experience. In 2013, Miss Hannah moved to the UK to further her dance education and graduated her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance with First Class Honours. Whilst living overseas, Miss Hannah performed professionally all over Scotland, Belgium, and London.
In 2021, Miss Hannah successfully completed her postgraduate teaching studies with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and is excited to share her passion and professional experience with her students. Her most recent accomplishment includes performing as a Fairy in Fever’s WCIB: Sleeping Beauty. Miss Hannah is a registered RAD and Rambert Grades teacher.
Miss Skye commenced classical ballet training at the age of 3 at North Balgowlah School of Dance and then Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy directed by former Principal dancer of the Australian Ballet, Lucinda Dunn. Later she completed full time pre-professional ballet training for 2 years with schools such as Lamont, directed by Suzanne Way, and Classical Ballet 121. Miss Skye received a one-year coaching scholarship with Julie Wells, a former dancer at the Australian Ballet and a Tutor with the Royal Academy of Dance. Still dancing part-time, Miss Skye has graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance and is now a registered RAD teacher.
With 15 years of dance experience and 3 years of teaching experience, Miss Fiona has continuously dedicated herself to learning the artform, and honing her capabilities as a dancer. During her time at Pymble, she was the Elective Dance Captain for 2021, and was nominated for her Major Study and Core Performance for the HSC, and ultimately achieved a Band 6 for Dance.
Being trained in various styles such as Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Pom, Miss Fiona’s skills have been recognised by completing her Advanced One RAD examination, becoming Pymble’s Contemporary Performer of the Year in 2022, and winning UniSport’s National Champion for Lyrical in 2024. Presently, she is still active as a performer and competitor, going on stage and winning medals alike, representing the University of Sydney on regional and national levels. With all her experience, Miss Fiona is keen to nurture the talent of the next generation of dancers, striving to be a reliable mentor to her students, just as her teachers were to her.
Miss Ash grew up in Dubbo, a country town in NSW, she came to Pymble and has completed her Certificate II in Dance and Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching. Alongside completing her HSC in 2024 where she did HSC dance and received a double nomination, Miss Ash has done every style of dancing at Pymble and she achieved a distinction in her RAD Advanced One Ballet Exam. Miss Ash was a boarder at Pymble and loved the dance program, her passion has grown and Miss Ash is now in a full time contemporary course at Brent Street. She is so excited to teach at Pymble and is thrilled to share her passion and inspire the Pymble Dancers.
Miss Chloe is an ex-Pymble girl and dancer, who graduated in the class of 2020. She is a full-time university student in her fifth year of a Combined Bachelor of Science (Earth and Environmental Sciences) and Laws at Macquarie University. Her love for dance was established in her early years from age four, when she trained in classical ballet, jazz, and tap at the Premier Dance Academy in Brisbane, Queensland. She joined the Pymble Dance programme as a student in 2012 and participated in several onstage, ballet, and eisteddfod classes. Miss Chloe has completed Advanced Foundation in RAD ballet and has further dance experience in jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and tap. She has also taken lessons globally, notably, during her experiences at the Broadway Dance Centre, Joffrey Ballet, and Millennium Dance Complex on the 2017 USA Dance Tour with Pymble Dance, and recently in the Pacific Islands, learning Pacific cultural dance styles.
Between 2021 and 2023, Miss Chloe was a member of the dance staff at Pymble Dance, and taught a variety of styles including jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and RAD ballet. Before leaving Pymble, she was mentored by senior dance instructors for four years, working as an assistant teacher for the K-2 onstage and junior eisteddfod programs. In November 2023, Miss Chloe was a recipient of the Australian Government’s New Colombo Plan Scholarship. She parted ways with Pymble Dance for 13 months to study, learn languages, and gain valuable work experience in the Pacific Islands, notably Tonga and Samoa. She is excited to return to Pymble Dance in 2025 and will continue teaching and working towards a CERTIV Certificate in Dance Teaching and Management. She is a passionate, positive, enthusiastic, and energetic junior dance instructor, and she loves working with students to build their confidence in performing onstage and achieve their goals and fullest potential.
Miss Steph is an energetic and creative new teacher joining the Pymble faculty in 2025! Steph is currently completing her Masters of Architecture at the University of Sydney and has been competing on USYD’s dance competition team for last two years. Having trained in various styles from the age of 6, including Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Ballet, Steph hopes to inspire confidence, passion and a lifelong love for the art of dance through her classes. Steph is excited for the year ahead as part of Pymble Dance and cannot wait!
Senior Instructor
Miss Shelley’s unique style and unquestionable industry success as a Contemporary teacher and choreographer has evolved from her NSW North Coast upbringing. Shelley is a graduate of the Bachelor of Dance/Bachelor of Education UNSW (Distinction) degree and is the director of DanceMoore Choreography - her own online business that connects dancers and teachers to her unique Contemporary choreography worldwide via downloadable programs and classroom resources. Shelley is trained in Classical Ballet (RAD Advanced 2), Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz and both Graham and Horton Contemporary techniques.
With over 20 years experience as a sought-after choreographer and dance educator, Shelley continues to enjoy a varied and active industry profile. She is a teacher at Sydney Dance Company, is the NSW Choreographer for the Australian Girls Choir, head of Programs and Training for REDed (a dance education company based in Sydney) and also regularly delivers national and international workshops for the Royal Academy of Dance (Tokyo, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur). Shelley has also created commissioned choreography for the RAD Award Seasons. In addition, Shelley delivers dance in remote areas of Australia with the Girls from Oz program, working specifically with young Aboriginal women and using the performing arts to connect, engage and empower. She is an invited adjudicator and Prize Sponsor of the Sydney Eisteddfod and guest teaches at several dance studios and training institutions around Sydney including The McDonald College, Tanya Pearson Academy, Ev & Bow and Alegria Full Time courses. Her diverse performance and choreographic experience includes working with prominent dance companys and brands.
Miss Shelley has been teaching at Pymble since 2011 and has been an integral part of the Contemporary Eisteddfod team, proudly delivering successful results on and off the stage over the many years. Miss Shelley is constantly inspired by the talent, maturity and dedication of the Pymble dancers.
Senior Instructor
Mitchell began formal dance lessons in Newcastle at the age of 13 studying classical, jazz, contemporary and character dance, before taking up full-time dance studies under the guidance of Tessa Maunder, OAM.
He joined The Australian Ballet School in 2005 earning an Advanced Diploma of Dance. In 2008 he was offered a place with The Australian Ballet and worked there for nine years. In 2016 Mitchell began teaching and mentoring and has since taught for Sydney Dance Company, The Australian Ballet, The Royal Academy of Dance, and Ballet Without Borders.
Mitchell has a Postgraduate Teaching Certificate from the Royal Academy Of Dance (RAD) and is a registered RAD teacher. His most recent accomplishment with the College is his two students receiving a Distinction in their RAD Ballet Advanced 1 Examination.
Miss Maddy started her dance journey at Future Generation Dance Academy where she developed skills and completed her ATOD examinations for Tap, Jazz, Ballet, and Contemporary. She continued her passion for dance throughout her schooling years participating in Co-curricular dance, HSC dance, and competing in the Australian Teachers of Dancing State and National Championships for 10 years. After completing HSC, Maddy went on to attain her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching & Management at Village Nation, a full-time dance school in Sydney. Miss Maddy continues to teach a range of dance styles within various private high school Co-curricular programs and studios around Sydney. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Dance Education at the Australian College of Physical Education and looks forward to graduating at the conclusion of 2025.
Miss Steph joined Pymble Ladies College in her senior years, graduating in 2024. Having done dance externally from school since she was 2, she sought to extend her abilities, studying HSC Dance, and receiving a double nomination for Core Performance and Major Performance. During her time at Pymble, Miss Steph was also part of the Eisteddfod teams discovering her specific passion for Jazz and Hip-hop. She completed Cert III in Assistant Dance Teaching where she is beyond excited to continue guiding younger students, simultaneously building her own confidence as a teacher.
Currently, Miss Steph is studying a double degree at UNSW – a Bachelor of Commerce and Design.
Miss Mel is a 2020 Pymble Ladies’ College graduate and is keen to continue her dance journey at Pymble. During her time at Pymble she was nominated for her major study and core performance in HSC dance, was co-captain of the Co-curricular dance program and has been a part of the Eisteddfod and Onstage Programs giving.
After been given the resources to train in different disciplines, Miss Mel was accepted into Brent Street’s full time course in the performing arts in 2022 and now has her diploma of professional dance (elite performance) focusing on performing arts. Her time at Brent Street has pushed Miss Mel to be trained in all styles of dance and has exposed her to many active industry professionals influencing her style. She now has gained an affinity towards more commercial styles and hip hop.
In 2022 Miss Mel also joined a hip hop crew named ‘Kookies N Kream’ and has competed with them at Hip Hop International in Phoenix, Arizona in 2022 representing Australia. KnK will be going to Hip Hop International again this year after winning Hip Hop Australia with the highest score of the season. Miss Mel is currently a full-time student at UNSW studying a double degree, bachelor of media/arts.
Bella is a passionate dance teacher, certified Pilates instructor, and performer with a diverse background in musical theatre and screen acting. She graduated from ED5INTERNATIONAL in 2022 with an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts, studied Acting at Stella Adler in New York and has recently continued her training in programs such as 'Get Over the Line' and 'TheatreBridge'. As a passionate choreographer, Bella runs open classes of all genres for professional dancers and takes pride in her unique choreographic style and the positive environment she always creates. Bella’s stage credits include playing Brigitta in 'The Sound of Music' at the Capitol Theatre as well as multiple Packemin Productions shows; such as 'Annie' where she played the lead of Annie. On screen, her commercial credits include Commbank, Furby Boom and a Star Wars mini series for Disney XD. Bella can also be seen in 'I Met a Girl', a 2020 Netflix movie. Bella combines her performing arts training with her Pilates expertise to create a teaching approach that focuses on building confidence, technique, and authentic storytelling.
Miss Denise is an ex-student of Pymble who graduated in 2023. She began her dance training at the age of 7 and upon moving to Pymble, immediately enrolled in ballet and lyrical. Miss Denise then extended on her classical training at the Conlan College from Year 7 where she moved through the RAD Ballet syllabus, reaching Advanced 1, and contemporary training where she competed solos and was exposed to the Rambert syllabus. Miss Denise also joined the Pymble Dance Eisteddfod teams in 2017, which has helped her to improve in a competitive environment. She is extremely excited to teach; building off her knowledge from completing the Certificate II and Certificate III in Assistant teaching courses to help make a positive impact on younger students. Upon graduating, Miss Denise has continued her love for dancing as she has joined the UNSW Dance society whilst completing a Double degree in a Bachelors of Law and Advanced Science (Psychology).
Miss Bonita is a 2023 Pymble graduate who is now completing her Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science (Exercise Therapy) at the University of Technology Sydney. She has been involved in both the curricular and co-curricular programs at Pymble through Elective HSC dance where she was Dance Captain in 2022 and, in general, sidestage and Eisteddfod classes.
Miss Bonita has completed her Certificate II in Dance as well as her Certificate III in Assistant dance teaching and is very passionate about dance in the Pymble community. She has been both assisting and leading in Pymble dance classes and is trained in styles such as jazz, contemporary, tap, lyrical and hip hop. She is grateful and excited to help encourage the dancer’s love for dance and performance through her classes and choreography.
Miss May Yang has a professional background in Dance, Pilates, Yoga and Fitness and is passionate about training professional dancers and fitness instructors. She teaches Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Classical Chinese Dance, Choreography and Pilates, Yoga, Aerobics and Boxing.
Over 25 years she has performed and taught in the USA, Australia, Asia, and Africa. She performed with a Ballet Theatre and a Modern Dance Company in New York, founded her own Fitness studio (MY Fitness Pilates) in Singapore and choreographed the dance for Miss Botswana at the Miss World pageant.
Her fitness routines have been featured in Shape, The Peak, WestEast, and Her World magazines, on “Morning Fitness” on Singapore TV, and in Singaporean newspapers. She has modelled for major brands including Cartier, L’Oreal, VISA, Nine West and Resorts World Sentosa.
Miss May Yang has a Distinction in her degree in Dance from Australia.
Miss Delta graduated from Pymble in 2022 and is now completing a bachelor of Business and Fashion at ICMS. She gained most of her dance training through Pymble and was part of the Eisteddfod Team since Year 5. Alongside this, Miss Delta took part in a variety of different styles and classes that were on offer, from Jazz to Tap, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Jazz Cheer. Pymble dance has always been a very big part of her life and she decided to do Elective Dance as a subject for her HSC. While she was in school she was privileged to be an Assistant Teacher for two years which gave her a lot of experience and helped prepare her to take on the challenge of teaching her own classes.
Miss Tiana graduated from Pymble Ladies' College in 2021. She began dance when she was 3 years old and has loved it ever since. She has completed her RAD Ballet through North Shore Dance Academy, and also danced at Capitol Performance Studios. She was very involved in the Pymble dance program through her school years doing both Eisteddfod and general classes. She also completed the elective subject of Dance for her HSC and has been an Assistant teacher for preparatory dance classes. She has experience in a wide range of styles such as jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, ballet, tap and national character.
