Showcase Schedule

Kindergarten to Year 2 Dance students will only perform in the Saturday Performance. Please see below for their required Dates and times. 

Term 4, Week 5

Showcase Week

No classes in Week 5 due to Showcase rehearsals and performances.

Production Schedule 

All Kindergarten to Year 2 dance students including Ballet will participate in their showcase on Saturday 15 November. This performance is compulsory for all students. Parents are required to sign their daughter in at the below listed venues at the arrival time of 10.00am sharp. 

In 2025 students will not be required for a Dress Rehearsal. 

Sign In and Out Venues

Kindergarten: Kindergarten Classrooms
Year 1: Prep Performing Arts Hall (Upper)
Year 2: Prep Performing Arts Hall (Lower)

Term 4, Week 6 and 7

All Kindergarten to Year 2 Dance classes continue as normal in Week 6 and 7.

Costumes Requirements

Please note that Kindergarten to Year 2 students' costumes will be kept at school until after their performance. Staff will assist changing students into their costume on the day and students can take them home after the performance. Students are required to wear their Showcase T-shirt and Black tights or shorts on Saturday 15 November.

Any Ballet students will perform their Production item at Dance showcase and must keep their costume from the Ballet Production and will be expected to bring it to the Show Day.

Shoes and Tights

K to 2 Dance: Black Jazz shoes
K to 2 Ballet: Bloch Embrace footed girls tights, flesh pink colour. Pink leather ballet shoes with elastic.

Under Garments

All students must have flesh coloured undergarments for Showcase. Students must wear body stocking on arrival under clothes. All garments are to be purchase from Bloch stores. No patterned underwear is acceptable.

We encourage you to pre-purchase your body stocking from Bloch to avoid out of stock items.

What to Pack Checklist

1. 1. Students are to wear their Dance Showcase T-shirt and Black Bike shorts or tights

   2. Nude coloured under garments to be worn on arrival

   3. All Dance shoes

   4. Water bottle (water only)

   5. Please pack snacks that are net messy and unlikely to spill on costumes.

Additional Costume Items 

While most classes have all costume items provided, some classes have additional items that they are required to obtain individually. A list of costume items that students are required to provide themselves will be added here.

If your daughters class has not been listed, all costume items will be provided as part of the Dance Showcase Costume charge.

Junior (1) Dance (Tuesday): Black leggings, black singlet or leotard
Junior (2) Dance (Tuesday): Black bike shorts, black singlet or leotard

Makeup

Kindergarten to Year 2 students will wear minimal make-up and must arrive on Saturday with hair and make up done and ready. Students will be required to bring the following items named, in their dance bag for staff to re-apply if necessary:

• Blush

• Red lipstick

Student Drop off and Pick Up

Parents are NOT permitted to watch the dress rehearsal. All students will be supervised in the theatre or dressing room by staff. 

At the conclusion of the show, parents will need to physically sign their daughter out from the below locations: 

Kindergarten: Kindergarten Classrooms
Year 1: Prep Performing Arts Hall (Upper)
Year 2: Prep Performing Arts Hall (Lower)

Fees and Payment

Showcase Package 2025

All Kindergarten to Year 2 students in Dance Showcase will be charged a Showcase Package Fee of $70.00. This fee includes videography, photography, production technical elements and a Showcase T-shirt. 

Students are permitted to wear their Showcase T-Shirt to dance classes once they are distributed in Term 4.

Dance Costumes 2025

All students receive one costume per class that they participate in. The cost of each costume is $80.00 and will be added to your Term 3 College account.

Tights, undergarments, shoes and some additional items are not included. Any additional items required will be communicated later this term.
