Spring Book Fair and Family Night

Move-a-Thon

Thanks to everyone who participated in this fun event last week! Fundraising efforts continue through April 26, so you can continue to interact with your child's site and add funds. Remember - this is our largest fundraiser of the year and enables Woodsboro to have a school play, enjoy assemblies, create fun family events, and more!

Student Store Donations

Dental Clinic

Melrose Elementary School will be hosting a dental clinic this year. The dental clinic is called Ayuda and they will be bringing dental professionals from USC. Call Susan Swinfard to make an appointment. Space is limited. FLYER

Love and Logic Evening Parenting Class at Woodsboro

Tuesdays from 4:15-5:15pm (and optional lab for questions and practice until 7:15)

Come join us for Love and Logic Parenting Class! There is also an online option. FLYER 

We can only run this class if we get enough registrants. It is a fantastic class and will revitalize your parenting! Mrs. Carmona and other teachers highly recommend Love and Logic's evidence-based techniques.

This course assists parents and caregivers in developing practical skills for reinforcing the expectations their children experience at home and in school. Utilizing the Love and Logic® approach, this course will teach six subsets of skills that encourage home environments that stimulate responsibility, prevent misbehavior, and encourage setting healthy limits. This class will meet on Tuesdays from 4:15-5:15pm in the MPR from 4/16-5/21. Meet our instructor and hear about the class in this short video.

USI - Universal Sports Institute

The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) is now accepting applications to the Universal Sports Institute (USI) for Fall 2024. USI is an all-new diploma-bound program for student-athletes in grades 3-12 available through the district's independent study homeschool program, Parkview School.

USI will Elevate Your Game and Empower Your Future through a free, customizable athletic and academic development experience for students. USI will focus on maximizing sports performance, leadership skills, and academic achievement through personalized exercise and fitness programs, mental performance training, nutrition planning, recovery programs, and so much more!

USI student-athletes have the opportunity to take their academic courses through the district's independent study school and they may choose to participate in up to two courses and athletics at one of the district's comprehensive middle schools or high schools.
