Please take a look at and review with your children the following safety measures in our parking lots and valet areas:
No parking is allowed along red curbs at any time and parents may not leave their vehicles in either valet line.
There is no parking or leaving cars unattended in the valet lanes at any time.
Please stay in your car, pull all the way forward to the front of the yellow-lined valet lane as space becomes available, and load or unload your students safely. It is recommended to put your car in park as you unload.
All students are required to exit automobiles from the passenger side only.
Use extreme caution when loading and unloading trunks and do not step onto the street unless absolutely necessary.
Staff, students, and families walking onto campus should use crosswalks to cross the parking lot. DO NOT WALK BETWEEN CARS, EVEN IF THEY ARE STOPPED.
It is always helpful when parents/guardians have the student's first and last name and grade level on a piece of paper in the dash when picking up students.
I always tell students that our number one job is to keep kids safe. I hope these tips are useful in safety discussions with your student. Thank you for your help!
Our school counselor, Vidhi Kantawala, is no longer at Mabel Paine. In addition, our registered behavior technician, Alyssa Gabel, is out on medical leave. We wish you the best of health, Mrs. Gabel, and look forward to seeing you soon!
In their absence, Natalie Almond, our Outreach Concern counselor, will be serving students exclusively in our Student Wellness Center. Please complete the following documents to refer students for counseling: Consent Form | Referral Form
Students can still enter! Turn in your Mustang Buck on Tuesday 5/31 (our last mustang store for the school year). Mustang Bucks must have the student's name and room number. Limit 2 entries per student.
Carnival pre-sale going on now through next Friday, May 27th! Many of our teachers will be working the booths to kick off the carnival!
The silent auction that would have taken place at Quartermania will now be held at carnival! In addition, there will be an opportunity to win some of the prizes from Quartermania.
We are also in need of volunteers to work the booth at the carnival. Each classroom has been assigned two booths to work. Parents, grandparents, aunt, uncles and high school students are welcome to volunteer. Middle school students are also welcome to volunteer as long as their parents are also in attendance. You are welcome to sign up for as many slots as you would like.
