Overview:
With Track & Field being our fourth sport of the school year we will have our season roughly be around from March 7 - May 11 (This is an estimate using last years dates). The events we offer are the 100 meter,200m, 300m, 1600m(mile),4x100m Relay, 4x200m Relay, High Jump, Long Jump, and Shotput. Their will be at least two practices a week from 3:30 - 4:30. We will only have one competition which will be at the end of season. The competition will be a District Wide Tournament at on of the District High Schools (last year was at Yorba Linda High School). Their will be 4 different event levels : 6th/7th Girls, 8th Girls, 6th/7th Boys, and 8th Boys. Further details about the past Meet can be found here.
If their is a conflicting schedule due to prior commitments be sure to communicate with Coach Moreno.
After School Late Bus:
For those of you that take the after school bus we will have a Late Bus that will be available to you if you want to be apart of Intramural Sports.
The bus will be picking up in the upper parking lot on Angelina. The Kraemer stops are offered at: Acacia & Benmore, and St. College & Balsam. This bus is for the rest of the year Monday through Thursday. If a student is taking the bus, tell Coach Moreno before practice to be dismissed around 4:20 to catch the bus that leaves exactly at 4:30.
Practices: Days To Be Announced
3:30 - 3:35 Get ready for practice dress out, use the bathroom, fill up water, scan in with their ID for attendance, etc.
3:35 - 3:40 Team discussion in the Rock Wall Room
3:40 - 4:20 Practice on Grass Field
4:20 - Dismissal for After School Late Bus students
4:20 - 4:28 Finish up practice
4:28 - 4:30 Team discussion / Dismissal
**Note that dismissal may result in a later end time by a few minutes**
