Overview:
With Soccer not being apart of PYLUSD Intramural Sports and many students asking about it we decided to add it to the program. Our first year we had four teams of mixed boys and girls playing against each other. This past year we had 3 teams with a mixed team and played in a 8 vs 8 tournament of a total of 6 teams with Valadez Middle School Academy. We are hoping that this year we can have enough girls to participate to have enough girl teams to play against each other. Details about the past tournament can be found here. Depending on availability of the field this will take place during the second half of the school year and will be announced later.
After School Late Bus:
For those of you that take the after school bus we will have a Late Bus that will be available to you if you want to be apart of Intramural Sports.
The bus will be picking up in the upper parking lot on Angelina. The Kraemer stops are offered at: Acacia & Benmore, and St. College & Balsam. This bus is for the rest of the year Monday through Thursday. If a student is taking the bus, tell Coach Moreno before practice to be dismissed around 4:20 to catch the bus that leaves exactly at 4:30.
Practices: Days To Be Announced
3:30 - 3:35 Get ready for practice dress out, use the bathroom, fill up water, scan in with their ID for attendance, etc.
3:35 - 3:40 Team discussion in the Rock Wall Room
3:40 - 4:20 Practice
4:20 - Dismissal for After School Late Bus students
4:20 - 4:28 Finish up practice
4:28 - 4:30 Team discussion / Dismissal
