Standards Based Report Cards - PVSD Slide Presentation
Please follow the link to review information about PVSD's Standards Based Report Cards. This year the La Mariposa 4th Grade team, as well as teachers from other school sites, will be using the newly adopted Standards Based Report Card System.
HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS
HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS
Homework : Each student should read 20-30 minutes each night in addition to their assigned homework. Assigned homework should not take more than 40 minutes each night. If your child cannot complete something because they don't understand it and you are having a difficult time helping them, please put a note on the paper, skip it and complete the rest. You may also email me at dford@pvsdcamarillo.org or dford@pleasantvalleysd.org to let me know that your child had a difficult time with the assignment. I also understand that LIFE happens and sometimes homework must take a back seat to other obligations. Again, if your child is unable to complete their assignment please email me, send a note, or have your child email me to let me know they could not complete their assigned homework.
I do my best to only assign homework that is meaningful and to help develop responsible habits.
