I am Mrs. Knecht and I am very excited to be here with all of you.  I love to learn and explore and am looking forward to sharing the fascinating world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) with my students. This is my eighteenth year teaching and my sixteenth year at Santa Rosa. 

I have a bachelors degree from UCLA in technical theater, where I studied stage management, lighting, and sound design. I received my masters in education and my teaching credential from Pepperdine University. In my free time I love to garden, sew, solve puzzles, and go on adventures.
