Christmas and Chanukah
The winter break started on December 20th and ended on January 7th. You should bundle up in warm clothing this season. Christmas begins on December 25th. Another tradition celebrated near Christmas time is Chanukah. Chanukah lasts eight days from the 25th day of Kislev, or December, and respects the Temple in 165 BC by the Maccabees after its destruction by the Syrians, later being marked by the successive kindling of eight lights.
December Student of the Month- Joyful
Joyful- adjective, very happy, or likely to make people very happy. Example: She was joyful today because she got a new scooter. If you want to see how this relates to our school visit "We Are Santa Rosa."
