I was born in Tucson, AZ but spent my early childhood in Houston, TX. After a short stay in Trussville, AL (near Birmingham), my family moved back to AZ where I have lived for 26 years. I am a proud product of the Paradise Valley School District (Greenway Middle School & Paradise Valley High School).
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Tom, and together we have two daughters who attend Paradise Valley High School. Justice is a Senior in the CREST engineering program. She is involved in several clubs and plays flute in the high school band, she is also very active in Girl Scouts & the community. Taylor is a Sophomore. She plays the violin, and enjoys participating in school events and playing volleyball. Our family also includes 2 dogs (Cody & Riley) and 1 cat (Baby Girl).
This is my seventh year teaching 5th grade at WWA, and I truly love what I do! I was in the insurance business for about 11 years but I always held tight to my dreams of being a teacher. While working and raising two amazing children, I was also highly dedicated to continuing my education. In 2013, I finally made my dreams a reality and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

I am the oldest of four children. My siblings are my best friends and I am blessed to live close enough to them that we are able to get together regularly. Family is VERY important to me.
I am an active member of parent volunteer groups at WWA & PVHS and volunteer as Girl Scout leader to a troop of 12th graders. I love anything and everything related to children and young adults!
