Prop Crew

Props are normally the objects that an actor interacts with while on stage. They can range from a tiny ring to a giant 7 foot plane. These props can be placed anywhere on stage whether its from and center, or tucked away within the set piece. A prop crew technician doesn’t need a specific set of skills due to the variety of props needed for a certain show. To help the actors and prop crew technicians, the props are kept on tables called prop tables where each prop is sectioned off with tape and has a designated “home” where it stays for the duration of the show.
