AI “Fruit Love Island" arose on social media, having many people entertained and drawn into the juicy drama, incapable of looking away from their screens.
Although lots of people love “Fruit Love Island", PMHS students have very mixed emotions about it.
Sophomore Kelcie Regner said, “I love ‘Fruit Love Island', it was very entertaining but I don't like the fact that they use AI since it ruins the environment so I stopped watching it after finding that out”.
Sophomore Andre Dowe said, “I don't like fruit love island because it ruins the environment and I love my environment."
Freshman Zoey Taylor said, “I think it's very entertaining for people that have nothing to do with their day after school and curricular activities.”
As shown, “Fruit Love Island” is a big discussion among young people right now, whether it's good or bad. Many people like the show in general but may not like what it takes to create the show.

Mr. Coleman, a teacher at PMHS, said,“ I think it'll be popular with all three age groups, it creates plenty of job opportunities, and fun expenses…Of course they've done it off plenty of other movies and tv shows, I don't see why not.”
“I think it’ll most likely be more popular with children, but as a disney adult myself I would love it…I think it’s a good investment, it's such a high-selling movie, and I'm sure they'll come out with more,” said Mrs. Serfass, a teacher at PMHS.

Ye and the creation of “BULLY”
By Jayden G. and Jackson M.
April 1, 2026
Ye, fka Kanye West, released his twelfth studio album, “BULLY,” on March 28.
The album was first announced during a show in Haikou, China, followed by a preview of the songs “Beauty and the Beast” and “Preacher Man”. West later decided to release these songs as an EP in July 2025. However, the EP was met with criticism, as fans realized that West had replaced his real vocals with AI vocals of himself.
Controversy continued to follow West in February 2025, as he went on another antisemitic rant on his X account. As the days continued, rants kept coming, and controversy kept growing. All of this came to a halting stop when West was seen in a video asking for forgiveness from the Jewish community from the Orthodox Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto. West went even further in January 2026, with him renting out an entire Wall Street Journal ad expressing his deepest apologies to the ones he’s hurt.
“I'm not asking for sympathy or a free pass, though I aspire to earn your forgiveness. I write today simply to ask for your patience and understanding as I find my way home,” said West in his WSJ statement.
Now, fast forward to March 2026, “BULLY” has finally been released, despite controversies and setbacks on its arrival. Surprisingly, it was met with widespread optimism from fans and critics alike. It is estimated to have been streamed 33.2 million times on Spotify on its opening day, and sold around 250,000 units, according to Hits Daily Double.
West is expected to cap his rollout off with a concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 1 and 3.
Tiger Woods is rolling his way to jail after driving under the influence
By Despina D. and Lillian M.
April 1, 2026
Tiger Woods was arrested on March 27 for driving under the influence (DUI) for the second time while driving in Jupiter Island in Martin County, Florida. Bypassers saw Woods driving very erratically while trying to overtake a truck hauling a trailer. The truck driver was making a left hand turn when he saw Woods' car behind him. With nowhere to go, he took the impact, getting clipped by Wood.
According to The New York Times, "He was charged with DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test. Both charges are misdemeanors.”
Woods was also previously arrested on May 29, 2017 for possession of drugs and marijuana along with five other drugs in his system.
There is a debate going on to see if celebrities like Woods get different treatment with legal actions then everyday people.
Freshman Makayla Griffith stated,“I do not think that Woods should get his licenses taken away but I do think that consequences regarding his actions should be put in place, considering this is not the first time he has broken the law. I do think that pro athletes do get treated better with less consequences than everyday people.”
The debate on what consequences Woods should receive still remains one to this day, but when it comes down to it Woods will receive some sort of consequence, whether it be less harsh than everyday people or more.

By Jhairy R.
April 2, 2026
Professional golfer Tiger Woods was arrested on the night of March 27; he was detained for driving under the influence of alcohol. This incident involved a high speed crash on Jupiter Island near his Florida residence.
According to ESPN reporter Marcel Louis-Jacques’ report on the arrest, Woods' SUV clipped another vehicle, causing damage and leaving his car landing on its side. Thankfully, no injuries were reported at this scene.
Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek stated on WPTV, “Mr. Woods did a breathalyzer test, and blew up triple zeros. But when it came time for us to ask for a urinalysis test, he refused, and so he's been charged.”
Woods was charged with DUI, property damage and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
He was later released, but this could lead to serious outcomes, including a suspension to his driver license and prospective impact to his professional career.
This incident adds to past legal circumstances the golfer has faced, and has alarmed many fans who are concerned about how it will affect his public image and future in the sport.
With mixed reviews of the cast, it left a question about whether or not the show will flop.
English teacher Mrs. Neff responded, “It has a chance, and if they promote it well, I think it will do well.”
Librarian Mrs. Baran commented, “I think it will be a huge success. The books were a huge success, and so were the movies. It's HBO so they won’t skim on quality.”
People have high expectations for the TV show because the movies were such a great success. People fear it's going to be another bad reboot or a cash grab. But others think it's a great way to tell the story from a new point of view.

By Despina B.
March 11, 2026
The live action “Moana" is coming into theaters this summer 2026. “Moana” is a kids movie and was so popular that there are already two movies and this would be the third one to come. Producers started making the live action in April 2023, and is being released July 10, 2026 in theaters.
Dwayne Johnson shared that he will be making his return as Maui, But the live action Moana is not played by the voice actor but is being played by Catherine Lagaʻaia.
Freshman Blake Marts shared, “I like that the Rock is still playing Maui but I wished the girl who voiced the cartoon Moana was in the live action. I do not think the live action is going to be better than the animated version because it is very rare for live action Disney movies to be better than the original.”
Freshman Adriana Morris stated, “I also like how the Rock is still in it but I wish the voice actor for Moana was still in it. I do not think the live action will be better because it will probably not look real and they are probably using AI.”
From the very first “Moana” to the soon to come live action version fans across the world have shared their opinions; whether good or bad, “Moana” is still considered to be a top ranked movie across the world.
Bruno Mars Cha Cha Cha’s his way up the Billboard 200
By Lillian M.
March 11, 2026
Billboard 200 announced which album has made it to number one. That is the one and only Bruno Mars standing at the top with his new album “The Romantic”. Mars hasn’t been number one since his 2013 album the “Unorthodox Jukebox”. According to Billboard, “Cha Cha Cha” is the most streamed while “I Just Might” and "Something Serious” are close seconds and thirds, but not everyone thinks they should be at the top.
Freshman Makayla Grifith stated, “So I don't think that his album deserves the number one spot because personally I think that there is better new albums out there then his. Personally I think that ‘I Just Might’ is better then ‘Cha Cha Cha,’ so I think that ‘I Just Might’ should be number one instead of ‘Cha Cha Cha’.”
Different people across the world have their own takes and opinions about just the album itself and the rankings of each song. Although many may have these different opinions, “The Romantic” still holds the number one spot as of today.

“Scary Movie 6” tries to cancel the cancel culture
By Zach S.
March 11, 2026
“Cancel the cancel cultures” was the phrase Marlon Wayans used in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. It is a quote that has been thrown around since 2020. It was used to fight social media critics in the cancellation of others. The term cancel in social media means to “boycott or withdraw from supporting a person or organization for something they posted.”
“Scary Movie 6” is the return to the “Scary Movie” franchise, where they make fun of horror movies and real-world problems. The franchise received heavy criticism and backlash from the fifth movie for a lack of humor and poor quality. This is what Wayans calls “a rebootquel,” which is said to go back to where everything all started in 2000. According to EW, Wayans also said the movie will be “multigenerational” and “we’re going to make fun of everyone because we’re equal opportunity offenders.” The movie is set to release on June 5.
A Shoot and Miss

On March 3, Rihanna’s mansion was caught in a driveby. The person responsible for this attack is a woman named Ivanna Ortiz, with 10 previous counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm, and three counts of shooting in a camper. There were no casualties as Rihanna was in her recording studio.
Law enforcement is currently investigating Mrs. Ortiz as her motives are still unknown.
Alena Dawn, a sophomore at PMHS, said, “I think it formed from jealousy of love for A$AP Rocky…I think it may be possible there was a history between the two…She definitely saw that lifestyle and wanted it.”
“I honestly wouldn't think it's jealousy, more so wanting to be close with an icon like that…There’s a possibility that the once had a connection with each other…Considering she was making posts about Rihanna months prior means she may be a bit obsessive,” said Mrs. Morgan, a science teacher at PMHS.
PMHS English teacher Mrs. Perotti said, “I'm not too sure it's jealousy, maybe more along the lines of obsessiveness…I just think people think they have connections with famous people over the smallest interactions.” Perotti also added, “She probably did it thinking it would get her all this attention and her getting covered on the news.”
The only way to truly know Ms. Ortiz’s motive is to investigate further in the matter.

English Teacher Mrs Neff shared; “Definitely not my style of music, I had no idea who he was til they started talking about him on social media and the news. We can not resurrect Prince from the dead, so I’ll go with Morgan Wallen.”

Dearest gentle reader: Netflix gives us a first look at the scandalous road ahead for Benedict Bridgerton and his lady in silver
By Jhairy R.
Feb. 20, 2026
The fans of ¨Bridgerton¨ finally have something new to celebrate. Netflix released the official trailer for Season 4, Part 2 on Feb. 13. This instantly sparked excitement across the media. The preview shows a continuation of the tension, romance, and difficulties the characters face.
This season centers upon the story of Sophie Baek (played by Yerin Ha) and Benedict Bridgerton (played by Luke Thompson). Their personal journey and love story views themes of identity, social barriers and resilience. This second part will deepen the storyline by letting some secrets come to surface and the complicated feelings both are experiencing that are impossible to ignore.
In an interview with Vogue, Luke Thompson stated, “So far, the world of ‘Bridgerton’ has maybe felt more fantastical because you see the rich and popular side of society, and it looks stunning, and there’s drama. But exploring a different version [now] grounds it. So hopefully the universe is expanding. And it’s perfect that this happens in the season where the couple’s whole question is: How do you bring love down to earth? Falling in love is a mixture of fantasy and reality. It’s where fantasy and reality meet.” The tone appears darker and more emotional as many suggest that the message hidden is that love comes with real sacrifices that makes this fictitious story connect with reality.
Quick flashes in the trailers Netflix suggest ballroom moments, confessions and dramatic turns that seem to disrupt the characters. Many fans are intrigued to see how the story unwraps since their relationship faces challenges from both social pressure and personal doubt.
Ever since its debut in 2020, “Bridgerton” has built an empire and reputation for blending fashion, romance, growth and social commentary. With this trailer, the anticipation for Season 4 Part 2 has emerged, as viewers prepare for what could be one of the most emotionally charged moments yet.
Wolfhard’s “SNL” debut
By Olivia D.
Jan. 23, 2026
On Jan. 17, Finn Wolfhard hosted two very interesting segments on “SNL”, and one of them caused quite a bit of controversy. Some believe he chose to perceive himself in a sexual way to get past the “child star” talk, while others believe it is to take back control in his own way after being told time after time of how great he would be in pornographic material as only a young boy. Fellow stars think it’s because he may not get many other movie or TV show offers like “Stranger Things”.
Is this truly good comedy that can guarantee Wolfhard a future or is this the downfall of his career?
PMHS junior Mollie Nugent said, “Oh yeah, Finn definitely will [getting more offers]…Based on ‘Stranger Things’ season 5, Finn’s acting was not the best…Honestly it was really funny I don’t think he took it too far at all.”
PMHS history teacher Mr. Dalzell said, “I think the entire cast will try to find other projects so they don’t get labeled as the ‘Stranger Things’ kids…I think a lot of productions will try to put him in more sci fi type movies and tv shows.” Dalzell added, “I feel like ‘SNL’ hasn’t been funny for years, I thought Wolfhard's skits were legitimately funny.”
Only time will tell whether or not this was in best interest for Wolfhard.
Was Louisiana State robbed of first place at UDA?
By Despina B.
Jan. 23, 2026
UDA Nationals took place from Jan. 16-18 in Orlando, Florida. The college dance teams train throughout the year leading up to competing against one another. Online viewers were annoyed about scores and how it was not fair. The big topic was about who won Hip Hop. University of Nevada Las Vegas took home the first place medal, but people were not happy that Louisiana State took second place.
Freshman Blake Marts shared, “ LSU was very satisfying to watch because of the way they moved and they looked effortlessly clean but UNLV was more sharp in their movements but I enjoyed LSU more because in my opinion it was more entertaining.”
Senior Maddy Samuels who attended the event responded, “All of the teams were absolutely incredible, and the awards truly could’ve gone any direction. While I personally enjoyed LSU’s hip hop performance a bit more, UNLV was extremely clean and clearly put in so much work on their routine. I don’t think anyone was robbed of first place, the level of talent was unreal, and honestly, any team could’ve taken the win.”
Overall people at PMHS revealed their feelings and opinions about UDA Nationals 2026.
From a Titan and a zombie, to Rapunzel and Flynn Rider
By Lillian M.
Jan. 23, 2026
The new live action “Tangled” cast has been released, stirring up some controversy. This past weekend, Milo Manheim (Zed from the Zombies musical) and Teagan Croft (Raven from the Titans) were announced as Flynn Rider and Rapunzel with Micheal Gracey as the director of not only “The Greatest Showman”, but now “Tangled”.
A student and teacher at PMHS gave their opinions on what they think of the casting and director.
Freshman Makayla Grifith stated, “I think that Milo and Teagan were not the worst option but not the best. Teagan was not my first pick for Repunzel at all. I think the casting team could have done way better, but Milo was definitely a top pick for Flynn. I am excited to watch the live action creation with the same director as the ‘Greatest Showman’ because ‘The Greatest Showman’ was really good so I expect the same with ‘Tangled’!”
Choir director Ms. Rousak said, “I'm so excited that they were chosen. Especially Milo Manheim. I have enjoyed watching him grow as a performer… and think he will make a great Flynn Rider. ‘The Greatest Showman’ was amazing...so I'm very excited to see what he does with Tangled. Plus Tangled is one of my favorite newer Disney movies, so I'm even more excited that that is his next project. Between the music, plot, and humor I think it will be an instant classic.”
Yet they have not started production; it seems people are very excited to see what Gracey can whip up yet again. While people have some mixed feelings on Croft, Manheim seems to be the perfect choice.

The Supreme marketing of Timothée Chalamet
By Jayden G. and Jackson M.
Jan. 7, 2026
“Marty Supreme”, starring Timothée Chalamet, became a smash hit overnight in theatres. In its initial five-day domestic box office opening, it grossed over $28.3 million, becoming A24’s third biggest debut. Fans and critics give credit to Chalamet’s enthralling advertisement of the film for the success of the movie.
On Dec. 8, a large orange blimp with the movie's title printed on the side was sighted in the Los Angeles area, sparking excitement and anticipation for its upcoming release. Following this, windbreakers sporting the “Marty Supreme” name were seen on celebrities such as Tom Brady, Kendal Jenner, and R&B artist Frank Ocean. The jackets were also sold at pop-up stores for a limited time, driving the demand and attention towards the movie through the roof.
For Chalamet's final act, on Dec. 23, he became the first person to stand on top of the Las Vegas Sphere, which was turned into an orange ping-pong ball in promotion of the movie's release on Christmas Day.
Chalamet wanted this movie to be a success, and to do that meant going above and beyond the norms of advertising.
“Movie marketing is trying to be passive, trying to be chic,” Chalamet stated on a Zoom call posted to his Instagram. “We’re not trying to be chic.”
With the film grossing $56 million internationally as of Jan. 6, more is to be expected thanks to Chalamet's extravagant promotion.
PMHS science teacher Mr. Coleman said, “I believe it’s possible he was having withdrawals and it was just supposed to be a simple quarrel, not death…I think it was only Nick involved, Romy is innocent until proven guilty…My favorite movie by Rob is ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ 2013.”
PMHS English teacher Mrs. Perotti said, “I don’t know much about Nick’s past, but I do know anyone capable of killing their own parents is of sound mind.” Perotti also added, “I hope and assume there wasn’t a collaboration on killing their parents…My favorite movie of Rob’s is ‘The Princess Bride’, it’s a good one.”
“Even when you're not actively using, your mind isn't right…I think only Nick was involved in the murder…I loved ‘The Princess Bride’ and ‘When Harry Met Sally…’ those movies are classics by him,” said Mrs. Baran, the librarian here at PMHS.

Netflix's huge bid to buy Warner Bros
By Ireland H., Mia H. and Kiera M.
Dec. 18, 2025
Netflix has the possibility of buying Warner Bros after putting in an $82.7 billion bid on Dec. 5. If Netflix were to win the bid, it would have a significant impact on movie selections.
History teacher Mr. Dalzell has his opinion on Netflix subscriptions. “It's gonna have to go up cause they have to compensate themselves for purchasing Warner Bros. I'm just glad Disney didn't buy Warner Bros.
Freshman Olivia Brooks said, “Add ‘Wonder Woman’ to Netflix and ‘Harry Potter’, I think popularity would go up because Netflix is really bad right now, and also Netflix makes a lot of Netflix originals, and they were not that good.”
Paramount wanted to pay $108 billion, but Warner Bros declined, letting Netflix take it all.
Stay tuned to see if your favorite movie gets added to Netflix!
Many of the students' opinions at PMHS were in relation to each other regarding their top artist pick of the year.
Riley Eastlack said, “I think those were all very popular so they do deserve to be in the top five. I would have put Billie Eilish then Sabrina carpenter because they were very popular, then maybe SZA next, and then Bad Bunny. Then KPop Demon Hunters because I don’t really listen to them.”

Should “Clare Obscure: Expedition 33” have won Game of the Year?
By Zach S.
Dec. 18, 2025
Beating out other titles such as “Death Stranding 2” and “Hades 2”, “Clare Obscure: Expedition 33” won Game of the Year at the Game Awards.
But some people think the Game Awards this year were rigged, such as Twitch streamer Shroud who has gone on record saying, “Once again, another year, another rigged year. That's crazy.”
People who play games often didn’t even know what "Clare Obscure" even was until the awards. Teacher Mr. Coleman announced, “I think it should be based on a variety of knowledge of the game.”
Many people have different opinions on who should have won and or should have been nominated. Coleman added, “My personal Game of the Year, I would have selected ‘Metroid Prime 4’, a Nintendo shooter game.”
Some people believe a different game that was nominated for Game of the Year should have been chosen, such as Mr. Milone, who said, “‘Death Stranding’ 2 should have won. Because of the soundtrack which helps put my daughter to sleep.”
Many people will have different opinions on Games of the Year. But the people chose “Clare Obscure: Expedition 33” and people will just have to accept it.

Another Avengers Movie? Yes Please!
By Maggie F., Dylan G. and Paige T.
Nov. 21, 2025
Marvel Studios has many movies that have reached global status. One of the most popular sagas is known as the “Avengers”. There has been an official announcement that another film in this saga is in the works.
While there are already four movies in the saga, there are also individual movies based on each character and their backstory. The new movie “Avengers: Doomsday” is scheduled for release on Dec. 18, 2026. Rival brothers Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) are part of this brain-rattling cast, along with Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.
This exciting movie announcement has stirred up the movie realm.
Mr. Foglein, PMHS math teacher, said, “I’m not a huge fan necessarily. I enjoy the movies, I think they’re kinda fun, but I haven’t seen all of them by any means, and I have some experience with some of them, but that’s about all of that.”
Mr. Milone, from PMHS, said, “Yeah, sure, I enjoy Marvel stuff. I’ll wait until ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ hits Disney+.”
In all of the “Avengers” time, this may be the big boom to bring Marvel back on the charts. Marvel may also be playing into the beginning of something new, as Robert Downey Jr. is not his regular Iron Man character. Could this be a new variant?

Can “Wicked: For Good” exceed fans expectations?
By Despina B. and Lillian M.
Nov. 21, 2025
Beginning Friday Nov. 21, theaters all over the world will be packed with “Wicked” lovers. Fans seemed to love the first “Wicked” movie when it came out in 2024. Now 2025 production is coming out with the last sequel, “Wicked: For Good.” “Wicked” has been on Broadway since 2003, so fans were thrilled to see it become a modern live action.
Math teacher Mrs. Chapkowski said, “I absolutely loved it. I'm a huge “Wizard of Oz” fan. So it was wonderful. I can not wait to see it. I know I'm not gonna be able to see it on Friday. But I'm hoping I get to see it the week of Thanksgiving.”
PMHS choir teacher Mrs. Rousak stated, “I didn't see the first one, but I did see the show on Broadway. ‘Wicked’ is an amazing musical with incredible music and production design. I think that bringing it to the movies opened up the opportunity for a lot of people to see a show they might not have seen otherwise. Again, I'm excited that so many people will have the chance to see the ending of the show. I am curious to see how closely it follows the musical itself.”
Secretary Mrs. Hankin shared, “I love the first ‘Wicked’ movie. I'm kind of obsessed with it; I watch it every other day and it makes me happy, I just feel very happy when I watch it. I'm very excited to go see it and although I feel like it will be sad, I probably won’t like it as much as the first one. Because the first one is very happy and like uplifting and the second one is going to be full of sad things.”
Everyone had positive feedback at PMHS. Many thought it was an amazing production giving many comments on how it makes them feel. In fact, in the first week of release the musical made $117 million domestically. It even won a total of two Oscars.
Overall, the production and producers are hoping they have made another cultural phenomenon.
Will we be able to survive 5 more nights at Freddy’s?
By Zach S.
Nov. 21, 2025
“I always come back” is what Matthew Lillard said in the final fight scene of the first “Five Nights at Freddy's.” Based on the indie horror game made by Scott Cawton, the first movie focused on the first game, about the four main animatronics (Freddy, Foxy, Chica, Bonnie) and Mike must survive to escape. The movie earned $291.5 million at the box office worldwide.
This movie is what some people would call a hit but ratings don’t say the same, with a 5/10 star rating on IMDb and a 33% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. That's a relatively low score for a high-earning movie. But there is a reason, and it’s the scare factor. The critics said the movie felt bland and boring and that it felt like a thriller more than horror, and it could play with the fact that the movie was PG-13.
But that lays the question: How will the second movie turn out with the same rating, Will it be better or will it do the same as the first movie?
Senior Shane Mathis said, “I think it will turn out to be just as good or even, because they are working with a lot of different elements.”
Some people enjoyed the first one and don’t think the second one will be better, like senior Luke Baxter, who replied, “I don’t think it will be as good as the first one.”
With the first teaser coming out in April and the first trailer of the second “FNAF” movie coming out in July, critics have high hopes and so do the people who actually play or grew up with the games. But why did critics hate the first one so much?
Baxter, with a very passionate tone, said, “I think critics didn’t understand it like the people who grew up with it.”
Also people think there wasn’t enough plot placement from the games. “I think there wasn’t enough plot placement from the games,” replied Elizabeth Smith, freshman.
Freddy and his gang will come back to play in theaters Dec. 5.
Friend or Fame?
By Olivia D.
Nov. 21, 2025
The unexpected happened on Nov. 16: Zuza Beine was once again sadly brought up, her mother had made a post claiming everything being told about her daughter was indeed not true. Her mother claimed that Samara Boulter and Zuza’s friendship was not nearly as close as they made it seem online, in fact she had said her actual best friend was a girl named Khloe. Her mother stated Zuza felt like their bond was tight simply because they didn't feel the need to validate their friendship online.
Zuza’s untimely death has brought the question of how genuine Zuza and Samara's friendship really was, forming the argument that their bond might not be as authentic as everyone once thought. Some choose to mourn the loss of Zuza and celebrate her life and accomplishments, while others can’t help but accuse Samara of emphasizing her pain too far for this situation.
PMHS junior Avah Bevis said, “I feel like their friendship before Zuza passed was a bit rocky but it could seem genuine at times…It’s definitely just for the clout, she probably missed her at first but the fame has got to her.”
PMHS senior Ryker Roy said, “It was definitely genuine, Zuza had a very close connection to Samara.” Roy added, “Afterwards I feel like Samara was going a little crazy, especially seeing everyone view her account looking for her to post, it definitely made her feel even more pressured to post videos about Zuza.”
“I think the friendship before she passed was indeed genuine, you could tell they were the only ones with an honest friendship in the entire Glow house…After Zuza passed Samara did kinda make it all about her,” said Mollie Nugent, another junior at PMHS.
This is a reminder of how complex online relationships and friendships can be incorrectly perceived as something healthy and exhilarating. It proves how south things can go when influencers navigate sensitive situations the wrong way.

“Dancing With The Stars” Hilaria Baldwin allegedly “bullied off the show”
By Despina B. and Lillian M.
Oct. 17, 2025
Season 34 took a turn in week 4 during Disney Night when Hiliara Baldwin got voted off. She gained the least amount of votes and blamed it on her husband Alec and his friends for not voting online.
Freshman Blake Marts stated, “She was good-ish but she wasn’t really my favorite. It's not fair because there are actually other dancers and just didn't really like her in general, but it is fair because other good people did get voted off too.”
Sophomore Ireland Helt said, “I think that she is an amazing dancer and she really brought a lot to the season. I think that it’s not fair and she shouldn’t be bullied off.”
According to Parade, another peer from “Dancing With The Stars” (“DWTS”), Andy Richter, stated, “I don’t understand why people have to be so mean to celebrities, especially in a dance competition setting.”
All in all Baldwin is still fighting for justice while everyone else seems to move on to the next week.

PHMS student Kyla Plazio said, “I think they could’ve added more women of color and they are kind of white-washing the models they currently have…All I know is they were absolutely beautiful this year.” Plazio added, “More models should be given the opportunity to get their names out there but some are bound to shine more than others.”
After an entire year of waiting the Victoria’s Secret runaway met some expectations and others were sadly not met.

By Olivia D.
Sept. 25, 2025
Gen Z music artist David Burke aka D4vd, on Sept. 8, had a 15 year old’s remains in the trunk of his Tesla. The girl, Celeste, had gone missing at the age of 14, only to be found causing a terrible smell in the back of his car.
According to NBC News, She was found in a Los Angeles impound lot after multiple people complained about the smell.
Everyone already has their theories for the infamous singer D4vd.
PMHS teacher Mr. Coleman said, “ I think David did it, it's his car, it was found not too far from his house…I think it was just D4vd involved, women don’t do that kind of stuff.” Coleman added, “I love true crime, but the man is always guilty.”
“He's trying to say someone stole his car, I’m pretty sure as a celebrity you have security at your house…I just think D4vd did it…I feel disturbed over this case,” added PMHS junior Destiny Hogg.
Maybe it will take the minds of PMHS to crack this case.
