Free Game is a free, community-based speed and agility training program designed to give young athletes access to high-quality athletic development—without financial barriers.
Free Game is open to boys and girls aged 5–18, from grade school through high school.
The program is ideal for:
Youth athletes in any sport
Beginners learning proper movement mechanics
Experienced athletes looking to improve speed, quickness, and coordination
No prior training experience is required.
Free Game will always focus on speed and agility development, including:
Acceleration and sprint mechanics
Change of direction and quickness
Footwork, balance, and coordination
Athletic movement patterns used across all sports
All training is age-appropriate and scaled to meet athletes where they are developmentally.
All sessions are held at the Cone Health ZooCity Sportsplex, providing a safe and structured environment for youth athletic training.
Free Game meets once per week.
The specific day and time are updated weekly and shared inside the Free Game Facebook Group, which parents can join to stay informed about scheduling, weather updates, and program announcements.
Speed training is often one of the least accessible parts of youth athletic development due to cost, private training requirements, and limited availability.
Free Game exists to close the accessibility gap in speed and agility training by:
Providing consistent, high-quality training at no cost
Removing financial barriers for families
Creating equal opportunities for athletic development
Supporting long-term health, confidence, and performance
Free Game is 100% free. There are no registration fees, session fees, or equipment requirements beyond basic athletic clothing and water. Free Game is about giving every child the opportunity to move faster, move better, and build confidence—regardless of circumstance.
