What motivated you to want to go to college and Purdue Global in particular?

My kids, and proving to myself that I am able to obtain a degree. 

What is one challenge you have faced in continuing or completing your studies/degree? How did you overcome that challenge?

Pandemic and my mental health, and then learning of my cancer diagnosis. You never overcome the challenge, you just learn to outsmart it and apply yourself to the best of your ability. 

What was your most positive experience at Purdue Global and why?

My education and the amazing professors I have been blessed to learn from. 

How has going to college impacted you and your family?

It has made mom-duties a little challenging, but in this house we are a team and adapt to the changes. 

What advice would you give to first-generation college students thinking about attending Purdue Global?

You will learn about yourself and your capabilities. Do not look back. An education is something that no one can ever take from you. YOU GOT THIS!!
