ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
AT PURDUE GLOBAL
The AI Task Force aims to keep faculty, staff, and students informed about relevant AI topics, issues, and university policies. To support this goal, the Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) provides the most current Purdue Global AI policy information. This resource outlines the university's stance on the ethical and academic use of artificial intelligence tools in coursework and administrative practices.
The policy, updated in August 2024, specifies acceptable levels of AI use in courses, details guidelines for proper citation, and identifies potential academic integrity violations related to AI misuse. The site also discusses the limitations of current AI detection tools and offers procedures for faculty to investigate suspected misuse. Additionally, it includes a curriculum guide and various resources for effectively integrating AI into course design, such as a strategy toolbox, introductory AI courses, and professional development opportunities.
