The ABA fieldwork in PG’s program is completed as an elective course in the student’s program. Students who elect to enroll in the course are required to complete a minimum of 150 hours of fieldwork during their 10-week academic course. The fieldwork hours must be in compliance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) requirements and can be applied to the overall hours required for BACB certification.
The purpose of the fieldwork experience is to:
Integrate behavior analytic skills in a real-world setting.
Evaluate behavior analytic skills and technologies used to develop behavior changeprograms for use in a real-world setting.
Develop professional practice strategies and client-centered responsibilities expected inthe field of applied behavior analysis.
Evaluate legal, ethical, and social validity considerations inaccordance with codes of ethics when practicing in a real-worldsetting.
