FIELDWORK COURSE
Your fieldwork course is PS555: Applied Behavior Analysis Fieldwork which is a 5 credit course.
Refer to the Purdue University Global Catalog for the course description and prerequisite requirements.
You are required to maintain a grade of “C” as the minimum acceptable grade for courses in the Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis program. If you earn a grade of “F” in a course, you must immediately retake the course. You may only take a course twice and must earn the required grade of “C” or higher. Failure to earn the required grade will result in dismissal from Purdue University Global after the second attempt.
Before beginning the elective fieldwork course and rotation, you are required to complete requirements as outlined in the Purdue University Global Catalog.
Regular participation in your courses is essential to your academic success. You must register attendance in online coursework by posting to a discussion board, virtual office, or drop box; or participating in a quiz or other classroom activity.
If you have not participated in any class for 21 consecutive calendar days (excluding scheduled breaks), you will be administratively withdrawn from your program.
You will be required to meet the health and safety requirements of the specific agency approved for the fieldwork.
If you have a health condition (i.e., pregnancy, seizure disorder, mobility impairments that require use of a walker or wheelchair, infectious disease or exposure to infectious diseases, emotional problems) that may have a safety consideration, you must immediately notify the Clinical Placement Team. While conditions such as these do not prevent you from completing the fieldwork, it is important that staff is aware of these types of matters as part of oversight of the fieldwork. You have the responsibility to self-report any health-related condition that occurs in the program to the Clinical Placement Team. Failure to report such conditions may result in delayed fieldwork.
All fieldwork sites reserve the right to establish documentation requirements above and beyond what is required by Purdue University Global. You may be asked by the site to provide that information. If you do not comply with requested submissions to the site, you will be at risk for delayed placement, which may result in an inability to enroll in the fieldwork course and graduate from the Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis program.
