The Youth Services Center is available to all students, parents, and families served by Pulaski County High School, regardless of income level.

“I am honored to be considered for the opportunity to serve as a Parent Member of the Pulaski County High School SBDM Council. Pulaski County Schools has been an important part of both my professional and personal life. I was blessed to serve the district for 32 years in a variety of roles, including teacher, counselor, assistant principal, principal, and District MTSS Coordinator. I continue to serve Kentucky educators today as an Educational Consultant, supporting 27 school districts across the southeastern region of our state. PCHS holds a special place in my heart. All four of our children have received a wonderful education here and have been surrounded by dedicated, caring, and supportive educators and staff. I am also a graduate of PCHS and have been a Maroon for a very long time.  I would welcome the opportunity to give back to a school and community that have given so much to our family. While I bring many years of experience as an educator and school leader, I would be especially honored to serve in the role that means the most to me—being a parent. I would bring that perspective, along with my experience and commitment to public education, to support the continued success of PCHS and every student it serves. Thank you for your consideration. It would truly be a privilege to serve.”

2. Tara Zimmerman

“I am a first grade teacher at Pulaski Elementary. I am the mother of Kailee, a freshman at EKU, Brinlee, a sophomore at PCHS, and Oaklee, a 5th grader. I love being included and being an advocate for all students.”

Voting will take place in the Pulaski County High School Front Office beginning on September 21, 2026 from 7:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. until September 25, 2026 at 3:30 p.m.

One parent will be selected.
